Hello and welcome to tech deals today on rogue one news with rogue we’ve got some fun news for you today. Lisa soon has confirmed that Xen 3 is coming. This year’s, but sim 3 yay and also to Nvidia’s new drivers, they’re ready, so make sure you get in there and download them because there’s a bunch of stuff that’s going to fix and it’s going to enhance when you’ve got some new games that are coming out Here in the next week, or so so we’re going to look at that and we’re also going to take a look at Intel’s Thunderbolt 4 now I know you’ve been hearing about it, but it’s actually pretty cool and where my multiple 4k monitor people pop your hand Up yeah we’re gon na be having a little wee chat with you today. We’Re gon na be taking a walk with you today. The other thing we’re going to be taking a look at is the PC gaming hardware market. It is gon na have a huge growth. Thanks to kovat and by just a few billions, so we’re gon na take a look at that.
The other thing we can take a look at is PlayStation. 5 is coming out with a brand new controller. It’S gon na be dual sense and it’s gon na have haptic feedback, and apparently it’s nothing like we’ve ever seen.
So, let’s get in there and take a look. Lisa sue is saying that Zen 3 is progressing in the labs very nicely, so it will be coming up this year. Dr.
Lisa sue says that Zen 3 looks great in the labs and it is on track to launch later this year. Amd Rison processes, two features. N3 architecture and the Rison 4000 series codename Vermeer and the epic series codename Millan. Now, if you have an Nvidia graphics card, you’re gon na want to download this new driver for 51.67 whq l. It has features for the new games that are coming out so death, stranding, horizon zero dawn and f1. A plus is a whole bunch of other games as well as g-sync features as well. Now these drivers are good from the newest cars, the Titan all the way down to the 600 series karts. So the issues that they fixed is, if you were using a HDMI cable and you weren’t able to get above 120 Hertz.
With your monitor, this will help. There was a little bit of a glitch with g-sync. That’S been fixed, so there’s a few things that have been fixed with this driver, not to mention all the games that have extra support now with the new driver. Intel is coming out with Thunderbolt 4, so you’re wondering okay yay. If you have two 4k monitors you’re going to be able to use this cable, it’s gon na have a lightning bolt on it, and apparently it’s gon na be twice as fast as Thunderbolt 3. Now, what’s also cool about this, is it’s going to be able to support? One 8k monitor pop a comment in the comment section below.
If you happen to be one of those people, the other neat thing about this cable is that it’s going to have up to a two meter length. Now the PCIe speed for Thunderbolt 3 was 16 gigabits per second. The speed for thunderbolt 4 is 32. Now, what’s nice with this Thunderbolt 4 cable is that it is backwards compatible with your Thunderbolt 3 devices, as well as the docking station.
If you have a Thunderbolt 3 docking station, this Thunderbolt 4 cable will work yay. That is a good thing. Thanks to kovat everybody’s stuck inside in lockdown, well, not so much anymore, although a few places still are so. If you’re born, you need to pick up a video game and start playing whether it’s PC, whether it’s console, doesn’t matter that will keep you busy for a few hours weeks days months, a long time now.
What’S actually interesting about this article is there’s a graph and it splits it up between high-end, mid-range and low-end and, interestingly enough, the low-end is the smaller segment. Mid-Range is at 34 %, and the high-end is really at 50 %. So, there’s a lot more people out there with high-end hardware. This is super exciting and it kind of makes sense because of all the new games that are Triple A games coming out. People want to play them and they’re requiring a lot more of your hardware. So people are having to up their hardware to a little bit more premium so that they can play these games. Just look at cyberpunk if you’re on Windows, 7 or Windows 8 or 8.1 that doesn’t have DirectX 12, you will not be able to play cyberpunk 2077. So you’re gon na have to upgrade your system. Now when you go into this article right down the bottom, it says that Cobra 19 has created a big spike in sales for PC gaming products. In the near term, the total market is approaching 40 billion dollars.
Now, what’s interesting, and it makes sense – is that forecasts are dependent on consumer confidence, so Intel and AMD if the consumers are confident they’ll come and buy your stuff. It’S not rocket science here folks and lastly, but not least, is PlayStation 5s brand new controller with dual sense and haptic feedback. That’S gon na be weird like having a controller and having it feedback into your hands, but I think it’s gon na be a lot of fun because the like games coming out gon na, be so real that to have that feedback will just immerse you into the Experience that much more now truth be told on a lot of the remotes. There has been the rumble and there has been the vibration, but apparently this haptic feedback just immerses you that little bit more. So I guess come the end of the year. We’Re gon na find out whether that’s true or not, now, what’s cool with this controller is that the feedback coming through it you’ll know if you’re running on sand on snow on grass.
The other thing is that if there is weather in the game, you’ll be able to pick where the thunder is coming from. So, if it’s coming from over here from over here in the distance behind you, that’s gon na be pretty interesting. Alrighty there you have it folks, so you’ve got Xen 3 coming.
