Young Makers' Creations

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Young Makers’ Creations”.
Hello hi, i’m laura cochran with make and we’ve got a live streaming camera here and is it okay? If i ask you a few questions about your project, hi hi, what’s your name harley, charlie um, so charlie, can you tell me about your project um? Our project is called the a-spot which stands for arachnid, charlie bot, charlie ethan, bought and um. It’S basically it’s supposed to be a eight-legged robot, but we couldn’t get to the eight legs right now can only turn and um stretch it’s powered by four servos and each one is turning a gear and it’s here’s the battery and we are using an arduino uno. We also soldered the wires, so we still don’t have a really good power source or we’re just plugging it into the computer right now. So so charlie did you make it with your name? Is ethan ethan? Let’S see how it works, the suspense is killing me.

It’S extremely sleek, that’s all right, slow! Is it okay to ask you a few questions about your project, yeah, cool, okay. So, first of all, what’s your name: my name is isaiah ulysses or moore, and what’s your project, my project is sound service which so what does it do? Well, the kids at after school got too loud, so the teacher um turned the lights off to get them to calm down, so we built a robot to do it for her. That’S awesome. What does your teacher say? Well, we haven’t quite given it to the teacher. Yet, oh nice, so you still get to surprise.

Is it her? He her you get to surprise her to hers. Yeah, let’s see in action, so you can make a lot of noise and it’ll supposedly turn this off. But right now it’s not really working! And apparently, if you touch these capacitor rails, you get radio unintentionally right hi. My name is laura.

I’M with make and we’ve got the live streaming camera here. Is it okay? If i ask you a few questions, so what’s your name and what’s this project, i’m kurt fleischer, and this is a series of projects by myself and my family, so we call it the fleischer yamamoto family projects. Okay, so i made some butterfly wings and originally they were supposed to be remote controlled. But i didn’t really get to that point.

But basically, i took coat hangers and i bent them all like that and i stretched old stockings over with them and then painted them with just like acrylic paints, and these are like incense sticks. I just poked them in nice yeah what else um these are. My galaxy shoes, those are really cool, um yeah, so they were originally just gray shoes, but my friends dropped her cupcake on them, and so they had this huge stain. So i just like sponge painted them and to make them look like galaxies.

So tell us what’s going on so this can light up yeah. I can see a little. What about? Is this a jacket here, a mia? It looks like it’s got leds on it. Oh, who wants to talk about it? I made this so my husband would light up like a christmas tree when he was biking home from work late at night, because i you don’t want him to get hit, and so the leds are all in here and i had to solder them through a button And connect it all together and there’s a little switch right, hidden right inside here and you can turn it on and off you guys.
