It’S been a solid minute since I spent like a good amount of time with a 2in one and while NOA was done with the yoga 9i 2in1 tapes, his form factor from just a cool bendy yoga thing and actually makes the form factor. What is always was going to be surprisingly useful, so of course, of the convertible like this. It’S all about Dad hinge, and this lets you rotate and adjust the screen to any angle you want and because you can adjust it any way you want. They took that into consideration with the build.
It’S got rounded edges, so you can hold this in your hands comfortably. It’S built using unibody design, so there’s less material needed which saves on weight and waste and it comes in just 15.9 mm thin. So you get this full hybrid design, don’t sacrifice on quality and feel the old adage with twoin ones was.
It was good, but it was okay, but there’s no butt here with this every aspect of this computer. Any format that it’s in is good, but probably one of my favorite things is that pure sight, OLED display. That looks so like perfect.
I’M a display snob, I’m talk about it for years. In my phone videos, Lenovo knows how to make a monitor. So here it’s 14 in 2.8k OLED panel, with 120 HZ refresh rate. That alone should be all the specs. You need to consider this laptop and it looks as good as a spec sound uh.
The image quality is awesome: P3, with srgb coverage and 10bit color depth. So everything that you look at pops off the screen and is incredibly accurate and that that’s what it is – blacks look black because it’s OLED the colors look, absolutely beautiful. The refresh rate is bunkers. This is probably the most perfect screen in a laptop, but you might have heard that before, but there’s always the catch with it right, it’s great, but it’s not a touchcreen.
This is a touchcreen which also makes us this convertible mode way. Better use this to be creative or productive. Whatever you need again one one machine for everybody, so as good as that screen is below it, matters two is the keyboard and if Lenovo is known for two things, I think the screen is one. But the second thing is the keyboards they’ve making think pads for years. They know how to make good keyboards. It is no different here.
The keyboard first of all goes edge to edge and has concave cap keys for really good Comfort. You’Ve heard that before right, but also oh, the key throw sucks. Not here, it’s got an increased 1.5 mm Tri, so you tap a key. It actually feels like you’re tapping it again.
The theme of it’s good, but it’s not applying here um on one side of the keyboard, is probably one of the coolest features to it’s got quick keys. Let you optimize a laptop’s power to give you the best performance, depending on whatever it is that you are doing there things like an iare mode. That’S going to toggle the low blue light features, there’s entertainment profile when you’re watching videos and movies – and this is all really awesome – and this is great and you’ve heard that again may have heard these before. But oh the speakers are going to suck not here. You got four Bowers and wilin speakers built in that’s support, Dolby Atmos, so everything you’re going to listen to again it’s going to sound good, there’s, also a smart power key lets.
You toggle through different Power modes. Uh, so you can go to Extreme Performance for beast mode or you can go to intelligent Cooling and battery saving if you don’t need as much power and want to save battery having these buttons on the keyboard means you might like actually use these modes, which will Make that experience even better, so the Creator zone is a pretty cool software feature: that’s exclusive to Lenovo Yoga that uses AI to allow text to image sketch to image uh and image training. So, whether you’re like a graphic designer or just need to help, transforming your kind of idea in your head or your rough sketch to a polished project, they got your back or if you need help visualizing, maybe a mood board of buzzwords and want sort of use Text to image Creator Z’s going to give you all those tools, and you can do it just a few little clicks to your finger and all this is powered by the latest meteor Lake Intel Core 7 Ultra processors and it’s using the Intel Arc GPU and these Sort of newer chips are crazy, powerful utilized the latest in processing and AI. The NOA took it a step further, though, by integrating their own dedicated AI Computing chip called the AI Core. This is going to intelligently manage performance and battery for whatever task you were doing so, whether you’re watching a YouTube, video editing, a YouTube video. The computer would be optimized for that task without you having to tell it what you’re doing with with optimization. You can expect better performance, cooler, operation and security. That’S like actually secure uh. Ai is like a crazy buzz word these days, but it’s sort of put to work with the new yoga 9i. You can feel the performance when using it and aside from that performance, AI is also being used for pretty solid features. There’S voice ID noise cancellation that can make your voice crystal clear and the camera has dual Channel noise reduction and the chips enable even more there a ton of IO.
There are two Thunderbolt four ports built in allows for 40 gigabits per second transfer speeds, which obviously fast usba Port, USB type-c port and a headphone jack. So you get all the fast IO that you’re going to need and inside powering all this. The 75w hour battery rapid charging built in so you can sort of get to work and keep going for hours on end and again, it’s great computer, but there’s really no butt here with this. It is a great laptop.
It’S a great tablet. It’S a great convertible. It’S got power, it’s got a beautiful screen, it’s got a great keyboard, it’s got AI features built in it also going to give you two months to complimentary Adobe Creative Cloud. There are a ton of awesome reasons to consider the yoga 9i and, if you’re in the market, for a laptop you’re.
