Xbox One Limited Edition Controller – Worth the Money?

Xbox One Limited Edition Controller - Worth the Money?

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Xbox One Limited Edition Controller – Worth the Money?”.
Okay, guys, this is the halo 5 Guardians wireless limited edition controller. Let’S take a closer look so just before we start this video I’d like to make a quick shout out to fusion. He made some amazing artwork for my channel. So definitely take a look at that and check out his channel in the description below so moving on to the xbox one controller. This is for the halo, 5 limited edition and it costs sixty pounds as opposed to 40 pounds for the standard controller.

That is a big jump in price, so as very very curious to see what we’re actually getting for that. When I first open the box, I was actually quite impressed. It does look like a very different version of the xbox one controller. It’S not like a slight alteration: they really have paid attention to detail and finally done it over double A batteries are included and you even do get a little bit of a dlc. It’S not exactly a full add-on content pack, but it’s a nice little bonus. I can imagine when people spend about fifty percent more to buy a limited edition controller, they would be expecting some sort of increase in build quality, but I can show you that hasn’t occurred at all in terms of materials.

This thing is basically identical. The only slight change is the d-pad, which has gone from a standard, glossy plastic to almost a metallic glossy plastic. But it actually feels the same in terms of the quality of materials, the weight and the feel in the hand, you’re getting an absolutely identical experience. And when playing with both side by side in a darkened room, you won’t really be able to tell the difference. There is, however, a very slight textural change.

You can see there on the back on the grips. It does go in a little bit and on the front we’ve got this almost web. Look on the handles. You can kind of feel it. It is engraved into the controller.

It’S not some sort of lame sticker here, but these changes are all really aesthetic. There’S no functional benefit to it, and this isn’t in a different class of controllers, like the xbox elite, for example, which actually does help you play the games. But it’s kind of this exclusive feel it’s this idea that you earn something that very few people own and it does in a sense, look and feel a little bit special when you actually see it for the first time or when you show it to your friends. They’Re all quite surprised, they’re taken aback and when you’re playing a four-player game and there’s one of these controllers, everyone’s almost fighting over it. So in conclusion, this is a great controller.

I mean the xbox. One really does have a very, very nice controller, evolved from the audio and testing Xbox 360 controller, but as for actually spending an extra fifty percent just to buy this, I would say it’s only really worth it for the die-hard Halo fans, because I mean to be Honest functionally, it adds no benefit, it’s not built any better, it’s not going to last you any longer and the extra DLC that you get with it is pretty superficial anyway, guys. That’S it for me thanks a lot for watching. I mr. who’s, the boss – and this is insanely .
