Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “World’s Smallest Smartphone Tripod”.
What’S up everyone how’s it going, this is waj hope you guys are all doing well and what you’re looking at right now is probably the world’s smallest smartphone tripod. This is actually called the pocket tripod pro it’s about the size of a credit card, and it fits in your wallet actually really nicely. It’S point. Seven millimeters in terms overall thickness is made out of plastic construction, but there’s actually some small carbon fiber reinforcement to make it pretty overall, stiff and durable. It has this foldable design that allows you to use your smartphone in both landscape and portrait mode. You can use this thing in a couple of different ways.
You can use it as just a general stand for your phone or as a platform to shoot videos and photos with there’s even a tilting feature that allows you to go all the way to -15 to plus 90 degrees in terms of tilting action, which is pretty Handy if you want to get specific angles and shots for your videos and photos now, the key thing about the pocket tripod is that the phone actually sits inside these two hemispherical adapters, which have a specific overall thickness, which is going to be dictated by the thickness Of your smartphone, so basically you want to measure the overall thickness of your smartphone by using some calipers or you can go onto the pocket tripod site and actually browse through the different smartphone specifications. That will give you the right thickness dimensions for the specific adapter that you’re going to need for the tripod, but once you’ve determined that the phone actually sits up pretty nicely. It’S going to be a nice snug, tight fit, which is what you want, especially if you’re going to be using the phones in these extreme angles and there’s a couple of different ways. You can set up the pocket tripod. Essentially, you have these two fold out wing tip areas that you can flip around and you can use the smartphone either in landscape or portrait mode. You can also break apart the two halves of the tripod, to give you a more stable platform, specifically if you’re going to be using it in primarily landscape mode, which most people are going to be doing. If they’re going to be watching any movies or shooting any video, now there’s also two modes for the adapters: uh there’s a standard mode which allows you to tilt from zero to 90 degrees and it’s more ideal for rectangular shaped devices. Now, if you flip the adapter around you’re, going to enter into pro mode, which is going to give you about 15 degrees, more tilt action, i’m going to give you a little bit more steeper angles to play with, and this is more ideal. If you also have a curved edge device like what i have over here with my axon phone really beyond those factors, i think this is definitely ideal for anybody that wants a super compact, smartphone tripod, that’s going to be with them at pretty much at any time. It’Ll fit perfectly inside your wallet in your pocket anywhere. You really go, so it’s pretty ideal for people on the go that want a stable platform to either use the smartphone as a stand basis or for some nice video and photography work with a nice stable platform.
