Let me know what you would do with this nomadic projector, I’m about to talk about to be a dad joke. Tell me a fun fact about yourself: leave a social handle in the comments open to anyone in the world runner for 10 days. All the information that will be in the description, this orb Dragon Ball Z, most projectors, look like some version, like of a rectangle and generally a gray, rectangle nomadic zigged. Everybody else was zagging here, it’s like a capsule. It looks more like a game console than a projector.
It’S got to the blue on the outside. It definitely stands apart from a design standpoint versus pretty much every other projector that I’ve ever seen. Snail 500 is a lot of things, but the most unique thing about it is that is the world’s smallest triple laser projector, which is a nut thing to say you get that great laser light source, but it is still insanely portable.
Now, when I say portable I mean but really small, it is 8.2 inches by 6.5 inches and less than four inches thicks can easily fit in a backpack tick with you anywhere. You want to enjoy your content on a way larger scale so powering all that is a triple Laser Technology that I just mentioned quickly. This is what gives this such a really incredible image so inside triple lasers, guess how many lasers are in there. There are three one for each color of RGB, so, instead of having one laser that provides all colors or having a lamp like a lot of projectors, do you get separate lasers for each color? That’S going to give you 100 BT.
2020 wide color gamut, so the colors just pop off the screen – I guess probably the wall, getting really good. Color performance from a projector is always hard, but the triple lasers here put in the work to get that done and if you’ve never heard of triple lasers. You don’t know any of the color Gap means it doesn’t matter, but just note this is going to give you the best color representation of pretty much any projector in its class. It’S also way brighter than most other portable projectors at 650. Ansi lumens because of the Laser Source image will appear more vibrant and brighter typical Lan projector. So, if you’re getting an image that is sort of just all around better with the 1080p image, hdr10 hlg compatibility is about as good as anything projector at this type, and I want to reiterate the brightness matters, but the brightness coming from the source.
I think matters more being able to have triple lasers, be that Source. Even if you are in a more sort of lit environment, typically projectors don’t work. Well, you can still see what you want to watch, so I figured we had to show this in like a real world environment.
So fun fact this is actually the first time that we’ve shot video with any audio in the new studio at all. It is like not even close to done so you’re getting a bit of a sneak preview of what this is going to look like this is an ideal setup here. So, on my right side, we’ve got a wall of Windows, which is something some light got a covering on them, so it doesn’t simulate kind of a real environment.
You guys would have in your house when you don’t have like a movie room or something. So we got the Fire TV ticket up to the l500 and obviously it’s fire TVs. You got everything you want here. So a couple things I noticed.
First, content, that’s really highly saturated, so animation looks absolutely incredible. I’Ve been trying to watch things that are a bit darker things like the boys. For example, you do lose some of the blacks, it is still incredibly watchable and it’s about as bright as this room would get. So, as the day goes on, you know those colors would start to come back and the blacks would look even darker see the difference. We have laser on the nomadic and then we have another projector here, that’s using bulbs and you can very clearly see different, especially when it comes to detail and brightness um. That’S really, you start to see a difference with the l500 I mean just watch the trailer, especially when you see the bright scenes, even the dark scenes you can just see more on my left and also the l500 seems to be a bit more saturated too. You can see the color, especially this scene is perfect. The colors are popping way more as they grab hands as it’s kind of going through the spider verse I mean you can very clearly see the difference.
I’M watching trailer with my favorite movies of the year across the spider, verse animation, bright, colors different styles. Obviously it looks really good in this. Injector responds like perfectly to like high contrasting, like animation, is probably the perfect thing to play here. I’M looking at bread fall out of the spot.
You can see the details. Even the black on his costume looks black, which is kind of a rare thing to see from the projector, so probably the ideal setup for projectors in a room where you control the lighting. So that’s where we are right now, actually in the garage at the new studio, uh we’ve got a white wall, simulating a screen and like this is where projectors just like shine, where you could see the Laser Technology bl500, the brightness of the colors, the contrast, even The Dark of the blacks look really good. This is a pretty close to cinematic as experience when you have full control uh over the light. So because this is portable, it’s got to do certain amount of things that can help it do its best job at being portable. I think the first thing you’re going to want to do is set this thing up.
This is what nomadic called aio10, which is a essentially a four corner adjustment in Auto Keystone feature, plus it has time of flight, Auto instant Focus, which gives you two times faster speed, knackers, even compare traditional sort of Focus Features. All that means put the projector down went through the wall. It’S gon na automatically make sure the image is straight and sharp and clear so when actually watching it uh there’s memc technology built in it’s going to give you a really smooth fluid motion on the screen. You can also use the 5G Wi-Fi built in to do screen mirroring if you want, or just connect any console or streaming stick to it and something that’s small and portable, probably not expecting great sound quality uh in it.
I think I would probably not fault you for that – not the case uh here at all pneumatic, actually teamed up with Harman Kardon, so it’s got Harman Kardon speakers built in giving it a really good sound in a tiny package, because that sounds so good. You actually use a projector as a Bluetooth speaker for something else, uh if you want so I talk a lot about projectors on this channel because I think they represent an incredible value for a lot of people. I think people don’t generally think about projectors when you’re. Looking for a new set triple laser, usually has been reserved for big bulky projectors having that technology, something so small is really cool. I mean this is awesome. If you want to take it camping with you, you want to take it in your backyard or even if you want to use it as almost a primary secondary TV in your house.
This can do anything and it is all encompassed inside it’s about great technology. It’S got great speaker quality and it’s got awesome image quality as well. So this is all new.
