Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “What to do with a box of Pringles”.
If you love Pringles as much as I do, then you’ll be glad to know that the fun doesn’t end when you run out of crisps, so paired with just your smartphone we’re going to turn this Pringles tube into a full-on speaker. Now, there’s a lot of passively amplified speakers I’ve made in the past. This is possibly the best one. So far.
First, things first give it it clean, and this can actually be a little bit tricky, but something I actually found was quite useful is to just chuck a bit of mouthwash in there give it a swirl and you’re all good to go, then starting about two-thirds down The tube measure out your phone’s dimensions and Mark it with a pen adding a little bit of extra room just for leeway using as sharp a knife as possible. Then just cut out three of the four sides you’ve drawn and please please, please get an adult to do this. Knives aren’t exactly fun when they impale you not like I’ve been there done that or anything. The only thing left, then, is to just fold it in just keep one of the sides actually attached to the Pringles box. This actually gives your phone a little bit more stability.
When inside connect up some sort of stand, you can improv this. It doesn’t really make a difference, what material use, just anything which keeps the thing up right and then just stick your phone in and see what happens granted. This is clearly no Apple product in the looks department and it’s not going to perform as well as an active speaker, but it’s quite impressive, considering what it is. Okay, so to be clear, this isn’t going to instantly transform your smartphone and speaker into some party worthy boombox, but it will increase volume by about 10 percent.
Add a little bit of bass and also a little bit more airiness to the music, bringing out the mid-tones. More clearly so guys, that’s basically it just a really really quick video. It’S definitely worth trying.
