Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Ultimate Xbox ONE X Setup”.
Hey what’s up folks how’s it going! This is waj hope you guys are all doing well and in this article i’m gon na talk about my current xbox one x setup. Now, since i got the xbox one x, i’ve actually added a couple of different things to kind of enhance the gaming experience and the overall functionality of the gaming console. The first thing i want to do is actually change the look of the console itself by using decal girls, a red burst, matte finish skin. This is a really easy, simple installation and it’s fairly inexpensive and if you didn’t know, decal girl is actually one of the original skin manufacturers for consoles controllers and a whole bunch of different other things. And i really like their overall installation process.
The actual material is bubble, free installation and it’s fairly easy to remove as well installation only took about eight to six minutes now beyond just of the looks and the cosmetics of the console, i definitely wanted to increase performance and speed in any way. I could. Unfortunately, we can’t install an internal ssd, but there is an option for you to add an external ssd drive and that’s exactly what we’re doing with this samsung evo 850, 500 gigabyte, ssd and now using the usb 3 interface. This is definitely going to make load times and overall saving a games onto the console about 15 to 20 faster than the internal mechanical hard drive. Now in terms of the headset, i’m using my personal favorite, which is the logitech g933, this is the primary headset. I use for my pc and my ps4 now there’s many awesome features on this headset. It firstly sounds amazing, really deep and rich bass. It has 7.1 surround sound as well as a great built-in retractable microphone. It’S super comfortable. You can wear for hours upon end and the only downside is that it doesn’t have full wireless integration with the xbox one x like it does with the pc and the ps4, but that’s not too big of a deal for me at this point. I could easily just connect it to the controller and have most of its functionality.
Battery life is also not too bad you’re. Looking about 12 hours with the led lighting off and about eight hours with the lighting on now in terms of controllers, i’m actually using two specific ones: one is the xbox one elite controller. This is probably one of the best wireless xbox controller.
Microsoft has ever made very customizable, has awesome mechanical switches and buttons hair trigger mode everything and another controller is the razer wolverine tournament edition. This is a wired esport, specific controller. It’S designed uh specifically for competitive gamers, to eliminate as much latency as possible and as some of the features that we find on the elite controller, such as the dual stage trigger functions for hair, trigger and full range of motion.
You also have more clicky abxy mechanical style buttons, and you can also uh remap, some of the uh buttons for different macro commands, and it also has a paddle uh style buttons located on the back of the controller. But besides that guys, that’s really it.
I’M definitely going to be adding more and more things to the setup as we go along and we’ll keep you guys posted in terms of some of the updates that we’re making to the current setup for the xbox one x.
