Ulefone Power 3 - Quad Camera Smartphone that last 2 weeks!

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Ulefone Power 3 – Quad Camera Smartphone that last 2 weeks!”.
This is a phone that is promising a lot of things. We’Ve got a full HD plus 8 into 9 aspect, ratio display no less than four cameras, and we also have a six gigabytes of RAM and the very recently released Helio p23 chip. Not only that, but a 6080 milliamp hour battery, which is very impressive, but it’s not the full story. It’S also about battery efficiency that we will have to test. The website also promises Android 8.1 Oreo, which almost seems too good to be true. That is an operating system that has any just hit Google’s own pixel 2 devices, but whether or not that is true for just over $ 200.

This is looking like a bit of a steal. Alright, let’s start by quickly opening up the box, see what we’ve got inside first up right on top is the phone itself in an anti-static bag, but taking that out reveals quite a lot of contents inside we’ve got a sim ejector tool on top couple of manuals And a plastic screen protector for the phone, but I guess more. Interestingly, it’s filled with accessories.

We’Ve got a USB type-c to my career, Spee, USB type-c to headphone jack. We’Ve got a full size, USB connection there as well lots of options here. So it’s good that they’ve included all of it what’s also nice is the phone comes by default with a silicon clear case already attached to the back of it, so we’ll take that off and take a bit of a deeper dive at the handset itself. Alright, there is a lot to talk about with this phone, but as good a place to start as any would be face ID because, yes, the phone does support face to unlock it’s, not quite as fast as the oneplus smartphones.

No doubt it’s not even close to as secure as what we’ve seen on the iPhone 10, but it does work. It works in a lot of different lighting conditions and very quickly at that, as you probably guessed, by reading the battery capacity of this phone. This is not a slim device, this is a chunky, thick and heavy phone, but you buy a phone like this with this expectation and given the expectation it is something you can get used to from a day-to-day basis.

I use the Galaxy Note. 8, the iPhone 10 and the pixel to excel, and to be honest, after a couple of days of using this phone, you don’t notice it so much if you have really small hands, it’s going to be more of a problem, but a difference is not necessarily a Deal-Breaker, the company has also done something which i think is pretty clever to mask the antenna. Bands they’ve used a double metallic strip on both the top and the bottom of the phone. I think it’s a really nice touch alright. So I spent a bit of time testing new Helio p23 chip.

This is the first time we’ve really got hands on where the phone and using one of them and you’ve probably heard of the Helio P 20 and the Helio P 25. Well, the P 23 is kind of an updated version using a similar architecture, but it does have a notably more powerful GPU. So we’ve been running things like Angry Birds evolutions, even though this is considered a lower mid-range chip. Actually wasn’t a problem.

Scrolling also feels a tiny bit tighter response times are generally pretty good on this phone, especially considering the price and, what’s up against. It’S also got six gigs of RAM, which, on one hand, does give the phone a lot of room for maneuver, but, on the other hand, with the specification like this, you probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between that and four gigs of RAM. The phone is more being limited by its CPU, that’s almost where the bottleneck is so.

It feels like the company is really just putting RAM on more for the spec sheet and because it’s really cheap right now and as a result of all of this, the unto T score of just over 50,000 feels about right. It feels roughly where the phone is at performance wise when it comes to camera. We’Ve got a bit of an odd arrangement. The company claims a 21 megapixel primary sensor on the rear, and then he five megapixel secondary and when I tested it, the portrait mode doesn’t completely fail in some situations. It actually produces quite convincing levels of bode care, but in other shots it exhibits something similar to what we observe with phones with faked.

Your cameras where one circle of the shot is in focus and every other aspect of the image is blurred. It’S not a consistent camera, that’s for sure, but at the same time it’s not a complete fail either low lighting wise it held up pretty well. The detail was still very much present and amazingly, the phone has a front-facing flash, that’s pretty rare and whilst this does make a noticeable difference for indoor portrait shots, the dual front-facing camera unfortunately, doesn’t really do anything. It’S as good as a single.

Now I was pretty hopeful for the display. It’S got an 18 9 s per ratio. That’S a box ticked! It’S got a full HD plus resolution. That’S another box ticked! It’S also got curved corners, which are more an aesthetic thing than anything else, but they just give the phone a little bit more flare.

They make it look a little bit less generic, more like smartphones, like the 1 5 T, which is a good thing in this case, with a pretty sizable 6 inch display, but only an average full HD plus resolution. If you inspected it really close, you could tell it’s not a 2k panel, but my main problem with the display is more its lack of color vibrancy. The brightness is fine. The resolution is sharp enough.

It just lacks part now to get a battery this large into the phone. We’Ve made a lot of sacrifices. It’S thicker, it’s heavier. It’S gon na be more expensive as results, but I would genuinely say it’s worth it this phone on standby.

You can almost forget about it and when it’s screen is on you’re using it regularly, you can squeeze two days and still have maybe 20 % battery to spare eula phone claims that you could fully charge this phone from naught to 100 in just two hours which, Given its capacity would be something of a record and in my testing it was closer to three. Having said that, we are talking about over six thousand milliamp hours here, so even then, it’s actually pretty impressive. What I have to say, I really didn’t like is the website claims Android 8.1, but it definitely is Android 7.1. Now it’s possible.

The company says this because they’re planning an update, but even then that’s nothing less than misleading. In conclusion, I really did have high hopes for this phone and the battery life is truly pretty fantastic, but unfortunately the sacrifices you have to make just aren’t quite worth the benefit. The fact that EULA phone has also somewhat misled, customers with its claims on its website, leaves a bad taste in the mouth and all-in-all, I can safely say $ 200 – can be better spent elsewhere.
