Hello there and welcome to tech deals or, shall i say, welcome back. Thank you for tuning in to our coverage of e3 2021, the biggest gaming event of the year next up is wholesome, direct with exclusive footage, developer interviews and announcements from over 70 indie games. But this is a summary, so we’ll give you our top 5 list of the glorious independent games shown today. We wouldn’t want to leave anyone out, though, so we will be covering some additional games next week over on the roguetech gaming channel, linked in the video description below be sure to click that link subscribe and ring that bell to be notified when more game coverage is Released now for the top five games, starting with number five fire tonight, is a narrative puzzle game about two people trying to find their way back together in a city on fire set to release august 12th. It kind of feels, like you just finished, a dating sim, but the world caught fire before you could move in and let the happily ever after ending video play.
So now you have to solve puzzles to get back to the person you matched with coming in. At number four, we have amber isle welcome to amber isle, a quaint, friendly village of prehistoric residents, who are in need of a new shopkeeper. That’S you craft and sell items, upgrade your shop befriend your paleo folk, neighbors and customize the island to bring the village back to life and welcome even more prehistoric pals. They haven’t yet given a release date just coming soon, but from what’s been released so far, it looks like animal crossing meets land before time and i’m all for it in the middle. At number, three we have gecko gods explore a mysterious island as a tiny lizard. Complete ancient puzzles effortlessly climb, cliffs and eat bugs, as you make your way across an island civilization lost to time set to release in 2020. It’S a fun, albeit wholesome puzzle, exploration game with tons of beautifully animated, sights almost there at number. Two we’ve got lego builders journey is an atmospheric geometric puzzle game that asks you to sometimes follow the instructions and sometimes to break the rules set to release june 22nd.
If you enjoyed lego movie but found yourself really wanting to build things differently or just really wanting to play with lego again, but you don’t want the mess or the excruciating pain of finding them on the floor with your foot as you do, this title is for You and if you don’t know what you want to build, have no fear there is a story and platforming journey to follow. And finally, we have number one lake. It’S 1986 meredith weiss takes a break from her career in the big city to deliver mail in her hometown. How will she experience two weeks in beautiful providence oaks with its iconic lake and quirky community, and what will she do next? It’S all up to you set to release september 14th.
I really didn’t get an amazing grasp of which way this game was going, i’m not sure just how much control you have over your character, but it alludes to the option of pursuing crime and darker mysteries or just having fun with the npcs like a playable slice Of life, if you will either way i’m very curious and wait, there’s one more title: we couldn’t help but mention please be happy a story of love and friendship and about understanding not just how to be happy, but how to be human set to release this year. But no date in particular just yet it’s an anime-style interactive story: game where you play as a fox hybrid girl, traveling, new zealand trying to uncover her past while learning how to be herself again.
