Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Time Warner v. CBS, Hyperloop designs, and Omni: 90 Seconds on The Verge”.
It’S thursday august eighth, 2013, I’m ellis hamburger and I had a delicious chicken salad sandwich for lunch. This is 90 seconds on the verge negotiations between CBS and Time Warner, Cable aren’t getting any better. According to a Reuters report, one CBS executives said the talks have quote gone badly off course. The network is claiming Time Warner wants rights to the same content that streaming services like Netflix offer, but without paying for it. This comes after CBS blocked Time, Warner’s, internet customers from accessing its content and Senator Ed Markey stepped in to try and get the FCC to investigate the issue.
Customers are still in the dark, so to speak. The new data suggests that piracy has been on the rise since the blackout Elon Musk may have overhyped his Hyperloop. The head of Tesla Motors says that he’s too busy with existing ventures to work on a Hyperloop in the near future, musk still plans to reveal the designs for his quote: fifth form of transportation on Monday, even though he’s setting aside the project for now too fast With the idea, and now I’m too furious and finally legendary sci-fi magazine omni is coming back. The science fiction magazine, founded in the late 70s and which shut down 20 years later, is being rebooted online since closing shop in the late 90s, Omni has reached mythical status for publishing the works of authors, such as Orson Scott Card, William Gibson. The reboot will feature both fiction and nonfiction, as well as old illustrations to accompany each story, and that’s it for today’s top stories.
Coming up tomorrow, I travel to the Past to stop myself from eating that chicken salad sandwich .
