Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Ultimate PS5 SONY Setup!”.
What’S going on guys, it’s your average consumer, and today i decided: let’s make the ultimate playstation setup or sony setup. If you will, and today we got a really really awesome setup. Of course we got the ps5 over here, but we’ve got sony’s latest x95k television. This is their new 4k mini, led tv with all of the bells and whistles i’m talking about all of the features and we’ve got it paired with their ht a5000 dolby atmos soundbar, as well as the new rs5 rear speakers in the back.
To give us a complete, surround sound system here, so we’ve got a lot to talk about, but first we’ve got to jump into today’s sponsor narwhal so check this out guys. This is the narwhal t10 and i’m sure you guys are familiar with robot vacuums, but it isn’t every day that we see a smart robot vacuum with built-in mopping functionality and that’s what you get with the t10. But what’s different here is just how much of a focus narwhal has put into the mopping abilities and with a mop.
There are intricacies to how it’s done like knowing when to wring it out and get back to where you were last cleaning and the t10 actually factors in all of that with its self-cleaning base. So you get an efficient clean without having to supervise the t10, since it auto detects everything and gets it taken care of, and what’s really impressive about. This cleaning base is that it has a clean water tank as well as a waste water tank. So it gets all the clean water from here when it does the mopping and everything that it collects goes into here, so it’s easily replaced and thrown out once it’s done doing its job.
It’S a really impressive system, especially if you have hardwood floors like we do and with its smart mapping, features where it’s able to avoid certain obstacles and make sure it doesn’t fall off stairs. There’S a lot of cleaning. You can get done without lifting a finger now, if you guys want to learn more about the t10 or pick one up i’ll, of course, have links down below in the description. Now. Let’S talk about this setup, so check it out guys. This is like, i said, sony’s x95k, and this is their first mini led tv. The one we’ve got right here is the 65 inch model. They also have a 75 and 85 inch option as well. Now this thing has over 400 local dimming zones. So this thing is going to be great when it comes to picture quality.
Colors, look really vibrant everything that we’ve thrown on here has looked really good so far, but you guys know me, i’m a big gamer, so gaming is kind of like the big thing. For me, uh making sure my games look great, and this absolutely did not disappoint now. This thing will, of course, support all the features we’re looking for when it comes to console gaming in this generation. So you got that hdmi 2.1 variable refresh rate hdr, all the things you want your tv to support for your gaming experience. This thing, of course, has it, and since it’s made by sony, it makes sense that you know it’d be able to cover all the bases for our ps5s, so playing games, like ghost a tsushima on here, look great now. What i love about this is that no matter the environment, even though it’s like crazy bright in here, it looks awesome on screen, so you don’t need to have it in a dark area in order to get the best quality out of it.
This thing definitely does a good job, even though we have like a million windows in here – and i know you guys aren’t in the room with us, but you can kind of see just a bit from the video here. This thing looks gr, see i’m not even great at ratcheting clank, so i got ta pay attention. As i talk, i can’t i can’t do this, but all this aside, you guys can see how it handles even the really bright sparks everything looks really good. It looks good on camera, listen once you got once you got jay’s seal of approval.
That’S all you need, so you can see. You’Ve got really detailed clouds, but even in the darker areas like under these building structures, you can still see all the detail, even areas that are really bright to areas that should be really dark. You still see everything so when it comes to that hdr content ah looks great now we know this thing looks great and has the specs to back up our gaming needs, but it’s got some pretty nice software features baked in that i like too. Firstly, it’s running a really smooth version of google tv, so that means you have access to a ton of apps games and the ability to use google assistant.
So you can ask random questions to your tv and it’ll answer it on the screen. I’Ve seen google tv on some tvs, but they usually aren’t as responsive as what we’re seeing here now. This particular model doesn’t have this feature but sony’s new tv lineups for this year. Have this really cool feature where you can call out to the tv and ask it to find your remote and an audible ping will play from the remote wherever it is? I think that’s a game changer when it comes to tvs, but i wish it came on this one and we’ve got a couple of other cool features like auto latency mode, auto genre picture mode, auto hdr tone mapping, which we kind of got a chance to see.
As well as even airplay, so lots of good stuff here from a software perspective now so of course, gaming on this thing has been great, but so has watching just regular content like movies netflix, you know the deal, your boy watches a lot of anime. Everything looks really good: colors were nice and crispy, but what also helps with this overall experience is definitely the sound so like we said before, we have the ht a5000 series. Dolby atmos sound bar over here paired with these two guys over here. These are their new rs5 rear speakers, that’s the name rs and guys it’s actually a really cool system. Now we know sony sound bars, they sound great they’ve, got dolby atmos, of course, they’re firing up. So you can hear things that are mixed for it properly. Uh.
You can hear things going above you around you, so you’ve got your center channel up front with your different speakers, firing towards you, as well as your dolby atmos, pointing up above and you’ve even got your beam tweeters here on the side, so that can really fill Up the room, so all together, we’ve got a 5.1.2 system because we’ve also got the sub that lives right here. Why do we have our playstation? On top of it? You know we’re rebels, why not nah? We just ran out of space, and that’s actually because you guys can see – we’ve got these legs over here, so it’s kind of cool that this tv provides a bunch of different options for where you can place. The uh actual tv stand legs, which makes it super super useful, because when we had the original setup we’re oh man, the sound bar is not going to fit, but sony took that into consideration, since they do make sound bars and they want you to use them.
So they make sure that tvs can support even having large sound bars like this. So we got the great visuals really good audio, but we haven’t talked about what makes the audio even better with the rs5s. So these little guys it comes in two. We got your left and right over here and now we’re not don’t do this at home, you guys, but you can actually place these just about anywhere uh.
What’S really cool is that they’ve? You can see that they’re not even plugged in uh. These can actually just run off battery for about. I think 10 hours of listening so i’ll get you through a couple of movies with no problem yeah yeah 10 hours. So you got some solid time. Yeah, okay, telling you but what’s great, is that sony takes into consideration that these might not always be in the same spot.
So when you’ve got it moving around, maybe you’re using it for different things. There’S an optimize button right here at the top, so that you can press this and it’ll re-optimize based on its position and where you’ve placed it the second time around. That way, you don’t have to go through the entire setup process.
You just press this one button and then boom. So not only is it super convenient easy to take around uh, but it actually has two front firing. Speakers uh. It’S got an up firing speaker up here, woofer tweeter, so it supports that dolby atmos.
These are probably some of the best rear speakers. I’Ve ever used, considering the ease of use uh overall quality. Look at that rear speaker. Can you see that jay? That’S a top firing speaker, it’s nice and i don’t know if you guys can tell by the way it’s shaped, but this thing can be mounted to a wall kind of place.
It like this and it flushes in well with the wall, looks really really clean, and i know i mentioned that these have 10 hours of battery life, but they also have a quick charge feature which gives you 90 minutes of use for 10 minutes. So if you really quickly want to get a movie going, but you forgot to charge them 10 minutes and you can probably get like your standard movie in with no problem, but with all of this you know. That means you can listen to some 360 audio. So it’s actually, if you try to give you well, you guys can’t experience it.
You guys wouldn’t know, but you guys can experience it. Let’S, let’s do that all right, so we’re just gon na jump into one of the best scenes in uh end game. Look at how crazy this movie is. Oh you hear that right, yeah, all right, all right, all right! We’Re gon na end up sitting here and watching this whole thing.
So my favorite thing about this setup is just how well everything works together. Now, obviously, everything is made by sony, so it makes sense that it’s just like easy integration from the television having all the features that you’d want to get the best experience out of a ps5 to our soundbar, connecting to the tv and very easily syncing over to The two wireless uh rear speakers in the back. This is like almost the ideal setup since you get the visual quality that you would want. The audio quality that you’d want, as well as just an easy time, just getting the setup to be exactly what you want.
So i like this setup, this is like my little playstation setup for this part of the studio and uh pretty happy with how it came out, but that about wraps it up guys. This is just like a nice cool, little playstation setup.
