Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Smallest Quadcopter in the World!”.
Welcome to the drone d1, a three point: five centimeter six axes, RC drone very sec, did someone say three point: five centimeters yeah. They did three point: five centimeters, thirty, five millimeters, it’s absolutely tiny! It’S smaller than a business card. You could fit two of them on a highlighter, so the packaging is very simple inside you, basically just get the remote which actually holds the quadcopter inside of it a charging, cable and two spare propellers for the quadcopter and then a quick user manual. Nothing spectacular one thing to note, though, is that it doesn’t actually come with batteries, so you will have to purchase two triple a’s to actually make the controller work and speaking of the controller, it really isn’t that impressive to say it looks like a toy would be A little bit of an understatement, but then again you’ve got to remember that this item in the UK anyway cost over 11 pounds 60. So it’s quite a budget item. It was actually a little bit heavier than I was expecting with the majority of the item being made up of a battery that takes about 30 minutes to charge and provides about 6 minutes of flight time, which is not outstanding, but it’s pretty ok. I was actually taken aback by the quality of the build, considering how cheap it is and considering how tiny it is.
They’Ve done an amazing job actually making it feel very, very solid, even though the materials are plastic. It just feels like it can really withstand a lot of bumps and then use that came to be true, so the device can be launched from inside the controller. It provides a very, very powerful, steady flight.
You can really feel those motors going when you launch it. It can go up to 25 meters in the air, so the range is really really long and the speed at which it flies is genuinely unprecedented. Take a listen to this.
So what actually flying around, like I said earlier, you do have six axes, motion control and as long as you face it in the right direction, the little strip that comes out signals the back of the device. It actually flies almost exactly what you want it to. It can actually hover quite steadily just in midair and some nice built-in LEDs can illuminate the surroundings even at nighttime.
It’S a very, very well thought of package and although the controller does feel a little bit cheap and the flight time is not amazing. Overall, it’s a pretty outstanding product for the price, thanks for watching I’m mister user boss – and this is insanely cool tech. .
