Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Missing Piece to Modern Homes – Eufy S1 Pro”.
Now you’d think, with a TV speakers consoles even a desk with a computer that you’d have like all the tech you need in your living room. There was one that we were missing and it’s actually this guy, the yui S1 Pro and while it ain’t a Gundam, it’s still robot and probably the only Robot vacuum I’d want in here. It’S not a g. No J looks like it’s. Don’T get me wrong. Robot vacuums are great.
I’Ve seen my fair share uh, but none of them look like this and it matches the aesthetic of what we got going on over here. I’Ll ask Arie if we could have this at home and I’m pretty sure she’s going to say. Yes, you sure now Aesthetics aside, there’s some actual functionality in here.
That makes me feel like this deserves a spot in a room like this. This is a robot vacuum and the mop, so the mopping features what’s different from everything else right now, so, instead of those typical mopping pads that you might have seen on other vacuums, this is using a legit roller like. Let me show you. I almost ran into the. I just want the roller man, so this right here is the roller that it uses underneath the robot like we said it’s different from everything else, because while it’s picking up the dirt in real time, it’s also cleaning itself so that you’re always using clean water. On your floor, so with this being able to clean itself in real time, if it’s picking up liquids like milk or I don’t know something crazy, maybe ketchup or something you won’t have to worry about it. Sme mirroring what it’s picking up across the floor into other spaces. Imagine with like a regular mop. It rings out all the dirt. Every time you you mop yeah, so inside of the S1 Pro there’s a tank for clean water, dirty water.
So as it’s cleaning itself off that dirty water goes over here and when it goes back to the base, it gets let out into this t water tank removed. It gets out in there. You can remove the clean water tank and get access to an area where you can put the cleaning solution. So when it’s mopping it’ll use a cleaning solution to make sure it cleans well uh. But you also have access to the dust bag right in here as well, honestly, depending on the kind of spill and how recent it was probably clean it up in a single pass through but again, the special part with the whole mopping thing. Not only is it covering a wide surface area in a very consistent manner, but it’s also making sure that none of the things that have spilled get spread across your floor now Jay has a robot vacuum and Jay. Isn’T it rough once you start mopping and, like my cats, throw up all the time and then pass just pick up the thing and just spread it everywhere: okay, yeah, that is absolutely gross. I guess we’ll move on. The last thing I will say about the mop is that Des one pro can detect the different textures of the floor and pick itself up so that wet mop isn’t being dragged around your rugs or carpet. Now the mopping features are great, but it is an actual vacuum that needs to pick up like dirt and garbage, and it does have a suction force of 8,000 pascals.
So it’s right in line with some of the most high-end robot vacuums. It has dual brushes SoDo clean, both its left and right sides, but what’s nice here is that it has an entire system dedicated to making sure it can get into tight corners and around Furniture. Listen we’re a bunch of guys in the studio over here right now, and none of us is picking up a broom or a vacuum to take the time to try and get things cleaned up. So having this thing being able to run on its own and just pick up any kind of like dirt or debris or even potential small pieces of food makes it an ideal companion for us in here very stereotype, but that’s also true.
Listen, I’m I’m just saying. None of us is out here with a broom unless we got to shoot a video now. What was great is that, while it’s doing its job trying to pick up those little pieces, there are lots of little legs in here and cables that are all over this floor that you, you probably can’t see yourself, but where this thing is going is going to Encounter them, and finally, I could reliably have something running around that I know won’t, try and swallow up the cable for one of my speakers. They love caes, have to same you know it Jay.
Now, we’ve seen obstacle avoidance a lot with robot vacuums, but a lot of times they still miss the little things like a cable that may be lying around and you could set up an obstacle School course for this thing and it’s going to do just fine. So it’s got this 3D Matrix ey that consists of a bunch of sensors, infrared and RGB camera as well as lar right here. I don’t know if you guys can really see it, but it’s inside of this opening and what’s great about the lar being placed there is that it doesn’t sit as like this giant Puck on top of the robot vacuum and that puck, while it’s great to have Ldar it can make the robot vacuum a little bit taller and harder to go under certain surface surfaces uh within a few seconds.
This thing can shoot out 300,000 dots so that it can map out a location. It actually does a really good job of completely mapping out a room with just one pass through, so it’s actually a pretty legit Optical avoidance System, since it also has AI built into it. So the idea is for them to move like humans and you can map out completely different floors within your home, so it can do the first floor.
Second, floor multiple are: is it can store all of that information and basically just run wherever you need it to, and once it’s done with its cleaning? Obviously, it’ll go back to its base station, where it does a few things, one of course being charging itself as well as releasing the dirt. That’S been collected into a dust bag which should last about 68 days as well, as you know, like we said, with the water tank release all of dirty water and taking a new one, it’ll also dry, the roller, so you’re not sitting with this damp roller in The middle of your space – and we haven’t even talked about it yet, but it also has a built-in touchcreen over here with a little window, letting you know what mode it’s in and you can actually change the mode. And, of course, you can also see where it is in the charging process and, of course, there’s an app where you can get a ton of functionality and control over the S1 Pro. But what’s also nice is that you can see the map of your home and know exactly how it interprets your area as well as set schedule. So you can have it running at certain times and you can also change the different settings. So if you want it to be in quiet mode or maybe, if you want a deeper clean, you can select different modes.
So there’s a ton of customization and different options. You can have there. One thing I think, that’s pretty interesting is the remote control feature where you can basically control the robot vacuum with the app but, like I said you guys, there’s a lot of tech here and it’s one of the few robot vacuums that I genuinely feel comfortable having In a space like this, of course, one because of the looks as well as that obstacle avoidance where I don’t have to worry about different cables. You know we got cables in here. You guys USB cables power cables. I don’t have to worry about this thing. Getting caught or tripping up on any of that, it just makes me feel a lot safer to have my tech around.
