Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Mercedes-Benz Laptop is HERE”.
This is pretty cool. Look at this collaboration, MSI AMG, Motorsport official partner, not the collaboration. I would expect, but kind of a cool combination exciting Speedy, like I want my laptop to be fast and obviously I want my AMG to be fast as well. I’M excited to see what this collaboration looks like steal, 16 Mercedes AMG, and we have some specifications as well selenite gray, which, by the way, is a color option on an actual Mercedes AMG vehicle. So that’s pretty cool.
I wonder if it’s the exact same paint, chip, 16-in, UHD, plus IPS OLED, Intel Core I9 13900 H, which is the chip you would want. It’S also got RTX in it: RTX 47d 2 terb SSD. This is a premium spec sheet on a premium collaboration. We have stealth on this side.
O, oh, I didn’t expect. I thought it was a liftoff, but it’s actually a hinge. Wo official partner. Look at the luxury gaming experience smells luxury. Oh, oh, okay, wow experience the ultimate blend of speed and Sleek performance with the MSI gaming stealth series created in collaboration with Mercedes AMG for a blazing fast, luxurious gaming experience. When I think of a luxury gaming experience, I think of two things: two Brands, specifically one is MSI the other Mercedes. So, finally, this exists. The well Mercedes AMG is renowned for its high Performance Engine, which is hand assembled and signed by the engineer in charge.
This is a very cool thing. Actually, if you ever pop the hood on an AMG vehicle, you see the signature of the manufacturer and I’m talking not about the company, but the individual Craftsman who assembled it by hand. Every engine is built by hand from start to finish each one by its own single master, technician, one man, one engine, one man, one engine, talk about the stealth, 16 AMG Motorsport, and here we have a little graphic, almost like a blueprint. Look. We have this sleeve that it is housed in it’s actually fairly lightweight, I’m going to leave that shrouded for a moment, as I lift out the other components Oo. We have a mouse mat with a red stitching which is reminiscent of the interior of an AMG Mercedes vehicle, MSI Dragon AMG Motorsport. This is your typical kind of mouse pad material with the deviated red stitching and then on the back side, sticky surface. So it does not slide around on the table: power, cable, extension, cable with MSI and Mercedes branding on the cable management. Velcro strap W. They even got AMG on the power adapter.
This is a 240 W capable power adapter with the same cable tie as well ooh. So here we have a certificate by the looks of it: luxury gaming experience, unique AMG, rhombus pattern. Repres presents the combination of performance and luxury 16 by10 screen ratio; 4K OLED display thermal shared cooling system, aluminum magnesium, alloy, reducing the weight, enhancing the durability wow. These are almost like postcards look at this one AMG racing vehicle, another version of a similar postcard.
This is cool added little touch. We also have a dual Drive: swivel type, USB 3.2 type-c 128gb thumb drive oo. I like that, a little type, A on one side, type c on the other, which is the perfect companion for your MSI AMG, Motorsport laptop and it’s 128 GB. This is pretty legit amount of storage. This satisfying mechanical click. I have encountered actual fidget devices that are not as pleasing as this don’t get me started Mo.
Sometimes you get items in these special editions which, let’s be honest, they’re, probably going to sit on a shelf, nothing wrong with that little Collectibles and things, but I like it when it can be both. It can be functional and somewhat collectible versatility. What we have here, a little accessory pouch accessory bag for whatever you please. It has a mesh portion here, it’s padded as well.
If you do store your cables in here, they will be protected somewhat. This could be a toiletries bag when you travel and you just want to rep MSI AMG Motorsport. This is pretty cool. I like that.
I think this is our last item and thank goodness it’s in here I was worried for a moment. I was like you gave me the mouse pad. Did you give me the mouse and yes, they did give me the mouse. This is the m66 MSI gaming mouse. Also in the selenite gray, I guarantee that’s going to match. Look at this kind of metallic matte finish if you’ve ever seen this on an actual AMG vehicle.
Very pleasing I mean, if you try to think of a color, that you would connect to the Mercedes AMG brand. That would be it. We obviously have our AMG Motorsport branding official partner. We have a carbon fiber weave, look to our button with a braided cable. It also looks like it has RGB lighting around the Ridge and obviously forward and back as well what a wonderful unboxing experience so far and we still haven’t even seen the special edition laptop itself.
Here we are with the MSI AMG Motorsport stealth 16. Now this is a 16in laptop based on the spec, yet it seems small, which is a good thing, and it is fairly light weight, probably something to do with this magnesium construction, MSI AMG Motorsport on the lid o. Look at this back panel. Let me just get a peel going nice. We have this glossy back panel with some back lighting.
I can see the word stealth nicely integrated Grill everything does feel quite premium, AMG branding on the front, reminding you of the interior of a luxury vehicle. Let’S look around the outside first over here. On the Le hand, side we have a fullsize ethernet Jack, as well as a fullsize HDMI port, which this thing is so thin. The ethernet Jack itself had to kind of be bumped out a little bit and you can see that the HDMI port takes up pretty much the full thickness of the device.
We’Ve got micro, SD card expansion. We’Ve also got a type-c port. We go around to the right hand, side and we have a little LED indicator for battery a 3.5 mil headset Jack. There is a thunderbolt connector. This doubles as a charge, port usba a and then our dedicated power port for utilizing the 240 W power adapter.
Once again racing Heritage, kind of carbon fiber looking this does a good job of kind of taking the emphasis off of the front-facing camera does look like there’s a little switch then, and obviously you can see it better. If you do choose to close off that front-facing camera for privacy, you can do so with this satisfying mechanical slider, not just any microfiber protective cloth. This one once again, MSI AMG branded and the keyboard here has been customized as well.
Amg pattern on the space bar. Oh start, engine button on the power switch check. This Grill on the top, the AMG logo is hidden in in there an almost flush fingerprint unlock, oh and over here as well.
I think this is one more peel. Msi AMG Motor Sport below the display on the bezel. We do have an OLED display here, 4K there’s going to be a premium price tag here, but obviously this is a premium laptop. Oh satisfying thumpy keyboard zero Lex in the laptop they figured out a way to fit in a number pad as well and a large trackpad. The whole thing in this selenite gray, reminiscent, as mentioned of an actual AMG vehicle, a little LED light fires up on the start engine button.
We have the boot up screen. This is one of these displays. That has I mean it goes completely flat with no resistance. I can already see the RGB backlight in action on the keyboard AMG Motorsport inspired wallpaper.
Here it’s got a very like race, inspired aesthetic here we are inside of MSI Center. So this is where you’re going to get your Hardware monitoring. You can see the CPU usage, the GPU usage. You can also set up your profiles in here, a series of presets which can be toggled via one click. For example, your true color will go to gaming mode. You’Ll have the ability to record moments from ING game? The keyboard is capable of only highlighting certain keys that you choose to have highlighted.
It will also disable the touchpad, assuming that you’re going to be using your gaming mouse. So this is just a nice way of managing the behavior of the laptop, depending on the usage scenario. Inside of the user scenario settings once again, you’ve got some specialized Graphics in the menu you can see. Amg Motorsport they’ve actually called their performance mode sport mode. The best system performance for multitasking and heavy duty by default, it’s in Smart, Auto kind of Auto switching between modes depending on your typical behaviors you’ve, also got Comfort, silent and ecoy.
Here’S our keyboard RGB setup, so we can do it per key basis. We can have a number of different illumination options right now. It’S steady orange but like obviously color shift multicolor breathe tons of configurability for RGB backlighting on the keyboard enemy Ahad.
So, yes, this is an extreme ex L cool and like distinctive looking laptop, but it’s also a completely capable gamer. I’Ve got it here at Full Resolution, actually 60 frames per second and high settings, and you can see like it’s perfectly. Fluid obviously can go in there and weak your settings depending on how much fan noise or how much audio or whatever you want to prioritize for, but for such a thin laptop with such a high resolution display yeah you’re still playing games, I mean you still got An RTX 4070 in here speakers are loud they’re in your face, like they’re firing, they’re right there, they’re right where your ears are, you know like who is this for? Obviously, you can just get a typical standard gaming laptop or you can get something like this. That’S just a little bit more unique, I think, does double duty as an executive laptop slightly better, where you’ve got this more subdued, selenite gray luxury feel to it, like you show up to the meeting, no problem with this thing and then play your games at lunchtime Or something so there you have it she’s, a stealth baby.
