Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The “Mac User Tries a Windows PC” Surprise”.
Hold on this thing has a 120 hertz 16 inch screen core 9. a 36 hold up, so this is even better than my actual desktop. Excuse me, yo jonathan here. This is the creator z16 from msi, which is the perfect blend of power. Portability looks and ridiculous. Build quality now msi is running some holiday promos and savings on this configuration as well as a couple different ones.
So if you want to check that out, i will drop those links down below inside. This particular model is an 11th gen i9 chip paired with an rtx 3060, so plenty of punch plenty of headroom and ultimately this is something you can both create and game. On. Now it is no secret. I use a mac so when msi reached out and asked. If i wanted to check this out and sponsor a video, i was like yes, i’m down, but just know i use a macbook pro. So if you send this out, can i give it away and can i make sure i find it the best home possible msi, of course, who have been incredible to work with said? Yes, so i put out a tweet asking if anyone had a friend or a family member, that they wanted to surprise and ultimately, who could use this laptop he’s a really good, dude um, you know been one of my best friends for years and you know he’s Just he’s headed rough um for like the last couple of years and just kind of you know, he’ll he’ll do well and then he’ll hit a rough patch and then he’ll go well and then like something else in life comes up and it’s kind of forced in Where it’s like, okay, i want to get new tech, but then, like this emergency keeps coming up, and so it makes it super hard for him to, like you know, upgrade his setup, damn man! Well, that’s what we’re here to do right! We’Re gon na we’re gon na lift each other up, so hopefully this can make us a small bit of impact for him now as a mac user.
A few things that stood out to me were the build quality, the track pad, which was really really nice. Obviously, this is packed full of power, but as a creator, the display is stellar. It packs a 16 by 10 aspect ratio, it’s a 100 p3 and it is color calibrated out of the box so with chris’s friend john being into photography and photo editing. This was a crucial part of the process, on top of the display being fantastic for creation and photo and video editing, you have 120 hertz refresh rate, it’s touch screen, you got porch for days cooling for days and the best part is this thing: weighs 5 pounds. So, even though you’re packing that much power inside it’s not gon na, be this brick tank that you got ta lug around another really cool detail here is the inclusion of a mini, led, backlit keyboard msi worked in conjunction with steel series on this one and the End result is really granular control. You have over color and light really.
The goal for msi on this machine was to blend tech with power and ultimately sandwich as much power as they possibly could inside the tricky part. With this surprise is i wanted to be completely random out of the blue, so it could not come from me. So after talking with chris, the plan was, we would send the package from chris to john and he told him there were some prints that he was looking to get feedback on. I told him a card was coming. Maybe i could just say: hey, there’s something else with that card or sure something like that. It’S a it’s a fairly big box. So what could? What could you possibly say, you’re sending? Are there any projects or anything that you know? Is there a world where you are working on something that you would like his feedback on, or maybe like a print or like some artwork, i’ve been shooting all year and just like hey dude, i just want to like send you this, like print. You know, okay as a thank you for, like called sport, sick.
Let’S try that so we’ll that’ll be the rough plan right now. You can shoot him a text tonight saying hey man. I actually threw more than a card together. I have a print that i’ve been working on just wanted to say.

I wanted to check in with him and see how things were. First of all, the build quality is crazy. I mean it. It feels like a macbook’s body style with incredible components inside right.
Have you done the the one finger test, like the lift the screen open, like that’s, how you know build twelve, oh yeah, yeah yeah, and it like just stays in place too, like it doesn’t just wobble around yeah yeah, it’s nice yeah, the! I really like the track pad. I was surprised how good this is surprised too yeah, i’m not used to like a windows laptop having a big old trackpad like this right, yeah um keyboards great too. They even did the the fingerprint reader part. No, that’s a nice little thing that they have on there. I’M super grateful super appreciative to you guys i hope 20 22 um, you know, can start you know being a better year for everybody, so huge.
