Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “The Future is here! VITURE XR iPhone Bundle Review!”.
This is the V one, a pair of next gen XR glasses. That features a massive 120in virtual display. I do have the entire collection of V add-ons here at the studio, however, due to the launch of the new iPhone 15 models, I’ll be focusing only on the iPhone XR experience, which is designed to take your entertainment and productivity to the next level. So I’ve been using these for a little over a week now and overall I did enjoy my time with the glasses.
However, I do think there needs to be some further improve movement in the future which I’ll mention later in the video, but if you guys are interested in picking one of these up, I do recommend watching this full video before you make any decisions so with the Iphone pack, you get everything you see here: the viter XR glasses, a set of nose, pads and different sizes and the HDMI adapter for iPhone 14 or older models. However, if you have the new iPhone 15, you can plug the glasses directly into the phone, since they support USBC the XO glasses, come in a hard shell carrying case and inside the case case, you’ll find the magnetic USBC cable, that’s needed to connect to your iPhone. You will receive three nose pads in different sizes and the HDMI adapter.
Now the HDMI adapter will allow you to connect the XR glasses to your favorite consoles. However, you will need to purchase an apple adapter separately to be able to connect to your phone total price $ 58, but it’s just for a limited time, plus the cost of the apple lightning to iPhone adapter. Now that we got that all out of the way, let’s talk about the experience I found the glasses to be very comfortable.
It’S not heavy by any means, and if you guys have worn XR glasses in the past, then the experience would be very similar to you. I did, however, have to switch the nose pads with another set so that the glasses sit directly in the center of my eyes, but even with the image directly in the center, the edges are slightly blurry, making it difficult to read small text. For example, when I’m scrolling through YouTube trying to find a video to watch, the title of the videos would be slightly harder to read near the bottom and the top compared to the titles that are in the center.
The trick is to get the glasses to sit directly in the center of your nose so that both the top and bottom of the screen are visible. This will require a few small adjustments to get it just right. The image quality is actually pretty nice.
You get a 1080p resolution at 60 FPS with a PPD of 55, that’s pixels per degree. The higher this number is the finer the details are and just for comparison, Nel has 49 PPD and the Apple vision Pro is between 5050 and 70. The colors on the XR glasses are vibrant and the text is noticeably sharp. You can adjust the clarity using the knobs up top, but for those who have really bad Vision, vit your sells prescription lenses separately, which are easy to install they are magnetic and they attach to the inner part of the glasses. Okay.
So, to use the glasses you attach the magnetic portion of the USBC cable on the side of the glasses. Then you plug the other end into the HDMI adapter. Then you plug the HDMI adapter into the HDMI to lightning adapter. Bear with me on this, and then you plug this into your iPhone.
So this this is the setup. I know it looks a little weird and sometimes a bit uncomfortable because of the weight of the adapter is constantly pulling down on the phone, especially when I’m trying to use the laser pointer. But I did find myself slowly getting used to it. But the silver lining in all this is: if you are using any of the new iPhone 15 or newer models, then you can completely ditch both of the adapters and plug the glasses directly into the iPhone, since they now support USBC.
So this will drastically improve the experience with the glasses. It’S also worth noting that the adapter is like a power bank. It’S got a 1,770 mAh battery built in that supplies about 2.8 hours of use for the glasses, and, if you plug in a USBC cable, you cannot only keep your iPhone charged but also keep the adapter charged at the same time for unlimited use. So once you hook up your phone to your glasses by default, you can mirror the iPhone. So whatever is on your phone screen shows up on the vure glasses and you can just use it this way.
If you want it’s perfect for scrolling through Tik Tok videos, Instagram reels and even watching TV shows or movies from your favorite streaming, apps like Hulu and Netflix, however, if you guys want to take full advantage of the glasses and everything it has to offer, it’s recommended To download the space walker app, which is specifically designed to work with the V XR glasses, so opening up the app takes you straight to the home screen and it transforms your iPhone into a touchscreen remote with a laser. You can use the phone like a laser beam to select from the menu, and you can move your head around at the same time to view more of the menus, just like you would on a VR headset on the left side, you have access to the brightness And volume controls which can also be controlled directly on the glasses by pressing the short button, a single press will toggle the electroc chromic film. If you turn this on, it will darken the background.
Providing you more contrast. So it’s easier to see the content. If you turn it off, everything becomes almost transparent, allowing you to see through the glasses.
Clearly, it’s worth pointing out that if you guys are going to be using the glasses in a very bright environment, so, for example, a studio or even outside, then your surroundings will bleed through the lenses and most likely interfere with your experience. In this case, I do recommend using the shade lens to completely darken the background. However, even with the covers on your entire vision isn’t covered because of how far the glasses sit on your nose.
Also, just because you have the glasses on doesn’t mean your vision is completely blocked. You still have access to your pereral vision on the sides and on the bottom half, so you can still be aware of your surroundings. For example, if I stand over here, I can still see the camera and if I stand directly up here and just tilt my nose, I can see everything clearly, and this is perfect.
If you want to use your phone in between or maybe type some stuff or use, a text feature on the phone, just like other XR glasses, the speakers are built right in and this is in collaboration with Harmon and they sound pretty damn good. The highs are clear with a decent amount of base and they get pretty loud too, but the cool thing here is that the people nearby, you won’t be able to hear what you’re listening to and that’s because of the reverse sound field that they developed with Harmon. It offers privacy to a certain extent, if you’re in a busy environment people around you won’t be able to hear what you’re watching, even with the volume maxed out. However, in a quiet room like a library, it’s best not to Max these out all right. Let’S do a quick, sound test I’ll bring the microphone really close to my ears.
Whatever you guys are hearing is basically what I’m hearing at max volume. So here we go. Okay. Now I’m going to move the microphone to the left of me uh.
So, let’s say someone’s sitting next to me in a bus for, for example, this is what that person will be hearing so yeah, pretty impressive stuff, even sitting right next to me in a very quiet environment, it’s still difficult to listen to what the other person is Watching so going back to the menu, you can also bookmark your favorite Pages by clicking on the star near the top. The bookmarks will then show up on the homepage, so it’s easier to find. One thing I will say is that it’s very easy to navigate around the pages using the phone as a trackpad. I didn’t experience any lag or stutter scrolling through the web pages, and the laser pointer is extremely accurate and responsive. It feels just like the magic remote from LG. You don’t always have to use a laser pointer if you don’t want to.
There are shortcuts on the phone that allow you to go back and navigate straight to the home screen, and if you find your laser pointer misaligned, you can tap and hold on to the trackpad to recenter everything. I just love. How easy it is to use certain apps like Gmail, for example, I get a larger screen to work with, which means I’m able to fit more content on one page that, combined with the laser pointer and the text, input from the phone drastically improved My overall productivity.
I mean you can just do more with the XR glasses than on your phone simply because of the much larger screen Real Estate. Another app that just makes sense on the XR glasses is the dock preview. You can really take advantage of the screen size and load up documents straight from your phone. This is perfect if you’re on the go and you need to sign contracts or paperwork. I think these glasses would be freaking awesome on a long road trip or hell, even just at a simple coffee shop, trying to get some work done, while they aren’t perfect and definitely could use some more polishing.
I still think they are the best XR VR glasses. Currently available in the market a lot of fun with them not going to lie, mark my words guys this is going to be the future and, I think, V sure, has a pretty good head start anyways, if you guys want to check it out I’ll drop, a Link to it down below. Thank you so much for watching and I’ll see you very soon in the next one. .
