Rockjaw Alfa Genus V2 - Bass Anybody?

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Rockjaw Alfa Genus V2 – Bass Anybody?”.
Last year, the Alpha genus was an incredible pair of mid-range earphones now they’re back with the version twos at 45 pounds. These aren’t exactly cheap but at the same time you’re hardly gon na have to mortgage to afford them, as we’ve come to expect from rock Joe. They came in a very nice box. Presentation was top-notch as always, and the included accessories pretty brilliant. We’Ve got six pairs of high-quality silicone ear tips, one nice little carrying case and then also three sets of tuning filters to emphasize separately on the bass on the treble and go for a more neutral approach now compared to the previous Alpha genus V ones. I have to say they lack a little bit of personality gone.

Is that beautiful, looking maple wood finish and the braided cable, and instead we’ve got a thicker slightly more high-quality cable, but nonetheless one that just looks a bit blunder and the actual earphones themselves again. I think they’re a little bit plain this time round. Nonetheless, they’re still pretty sleek and build quality is top notch. As always, however, the cable, while it’s nice and wide and doesn’t really tangle too much, does suffer from quite a high level of cable noise. So, for example, you’re wearing these and you start walking around your music – will be slightly interrupted. The remote to mic is pretty serviceable. You can use it to play and pause as well as skip tracks, but not raise another volume and the mic quality is pretty. Ok. Plugging them in and taking them for a spin for the very first time a few things actually popped into my mind. First of all, they sound good like really really good. I remember with the original Alpha genus.

I praised them for how well you could hear individual instruments and, to be honest with the v2s they’re. Even more defined separation really is one of the air phones strong points, there’s a good amount of detail as well, but the real elephant in the room here is the bass. It’S really really powerful. It punches you in the face and while for the most part it’s very controlled occasionally it does get a little bit bumi and can get in the way of other parts of the music. What this really means in the end is that for some genres, things like rock, where there’s a lot going on, it’s got a really fast pace. They don’t really cope so well and they can be a little bit distracting. But in some John Riis things like dubstep, where it’s just kind of beats and Tunes, it really really works. Well, they shine and, to be honest, they can outdo earphones costing twice as much in those genres.

Overall. This is another fantastic pair of earphones from the company who I’m really starting to become a fan of they’re, pretty detailed and they’re, probably in the top 5 % of earphones in terms of bass. But they’re, not perfect detail is not the absolute best. I’Ve heard it’s still good and the little bit of cable noise and the not-so-great mic do detract a little bit from the experience, but nonetheless I can thoroughly recommend these thanks for watching. I missed news boss, and this is insanely cool pick. .
