Realme 6 Pro: One of the BEST mid ranged smartphones? (Review!)

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Realme 6 Pro: One of the BEST mid ranged smartphones? (Review!)”.
The wave of exponentially expensive smartphones has hit us super hard with $ 1000 devices becoming the standard flagship pricing in 2020. With this, the competition in the mid-range and value sectors of the markets become something fierce, with makers like Xiaomi and oneplus, going from making flagship killers to out-and-out flagships, with L turn out flagship pricing that leaves space in the market for a new budget champion. And it’s where Rumi is seemingly been creeping in over the past twelve months now I know what you’re gon na say: yeah, okay roomies had a bit of a checkered past, but right now it’s doing pretty well, and I was very much impressed with last year’s x2. Pro so with that, can the room e6 Pro impress, or is it just another throwaway mid-range device? Allow me to elaborate in Android authorities review of the real me 6 Pro at the equivalent of 260 US dollars. The real me 6 Pro comes in so much cheaper than the likes of the me 10, the 1 plus 8, the galaxy s 20, which makes you wonder how much you’re really giving up by going with something. That’S a quarter of the price. Well, let’s start off with the software a place in which room E has really sucked in the past and the less said about that.

The better. This thing has the newly released romeo version 1.0, which is based on android 10. As of recording this video, that is the latest release from google to say it’s a vast improvement over those previous iterations would be a hell of an understatement.

The way the phone feels to use the notification dropped down the settings menus, the UI in general was just clean and intuitive, and it’s made even sweeter thanks to the 90s display. I say that because roomy has made the upgrade from last year’s romwe 5 pro from a 1080p 60 Hertz display to a 6.6 inch full HD plus IPS, the 90 Hertz display. I think it looks great when you take into consideration the price point that this thing is at it’s a little bit on the vivid side to the point where maybe it’s a little bit too vivid out of the box.

But you can easily change that in the settings menu so don’t fret, otherwise sure it’s not only and with a 90s refresh rate at 1080p. At this price point, I really don’t think usually expect that, but I don’t see anyone being unhappy with this display. Given the circumstances for the money, it’s going to be enough for lots of people and that’s really the trend with the room e6 Pro it’s got pretty much. Everything you’d expect a two hundred and sixty US dollar phone to have take that design.

For example, it’s similar to a lot of higher-end phones in the fact that it has a punch hole display a quad camera on the back and funky colors. I happen to think this lightning red unit is exceptional. What’S not so premium other build materials being used here. Is predominantly plastic, which makes a lot of sense for a phone in this price range, but that’s not to say that I disagree with their choice of materials.

You might feel differently and this is definitely a subjective topic. But I personally am a fan of plastic phones because they’re more rugged, more durable, less prone to cracking, and it means that real me has been able to put its efforts into making the rest of the phone much better like that, not too North four. But six camera array split into the dual selfie camera and the quad rear setup now know what you’re gon na say: Ryan, it’s not as good as the pixel 3a and in terms of raw image quality. No, it’s not, but in terms of versatility, it’s got the legs on the pixel 3a.

It’S got an ultra wide white and telephoto lens, and the results from all these well they’re, not bad at all. The Samsung GW 164 megapixel main sensor does a great job of capturing detail and dynamic range for admit. Ranger. These shots are impressive and the supporting ultra wide and telephoto cameras are putting in the work to the issue.

Here is that, as before, Romy’s processing leaves a little bit to be desired. The color shift when switching from camera to camera does need some tuning and the liberal use of software sharpening could really use some toning down flipping over to the selfie cameras, though the 16 megapixel front shooter does a good job of capturing the subject without doing too Much processing, if taking selfies, is your jam. This phone will be right up your alley. Even the 8 megapixel ultra wide secondary selfie camera does a good job, though it’s not quite at the level of its companion. What powers all of this? Well, six or eight gigabytes of RAM and 64 or 128 gigabytes of storage accompanying the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 G.

You may be a little bit disheartened to hear that it has to 720 G over the 730 G, that’s found in the poker phone x2 and the roomie x2. And, if I’m honest, I think not a lot of people would have minded if Rumi had spent like an extra $ 10 and added that extra $ 10 to the price tag to go with the 730 G. It’S not quite at the level of performance of the 730 G, but the 720 G is definitely going to be enough for most tasks, including some 3d games.

Sure it’s not going to run every single 3d title next, our 60fps and if you’re a hardcore gamer. Please look at another option. This isn’t that device for you but fancy some deep speed or Minecraft the 6 Pro has you covered with a forty three hundred million power battery and 30 watt fast charging.

I very much doubt that you need to worry about topping up in a pinch, based from what I observed when using the phone, I would get around two days a battery life, but my job is to sit at a desk all day and the phone is hardly In extreme circumstances, as it was around 50 % brightness and I didn’t have any Bluetooth accessories connected to it so playing around with some of the settings and changing the environment in which the phone is used, I feel like you, get at least a day’s battery life Out of this thing now, roaming UI does tend to kill a lot of background processes and apps that haven’t been open for a long time just to make the battery life better and that’s something that I’m personally fine with. But you might not be so. Keep that in mind when shopping around, because you might have several apps open and one of them would just go out of round within 5 minutes.

Sure you’re gon na get better battery life out of this. But it’s sometimes an annoyance and it’s something you have to be careful of. As far as value goes, the room e6 Pro is pretty great. You get everything that you should expect from a 260 US dollar phone and then some sure it’s not a flagship killer, because it doesn’t have top-of-the-line specs, but comparing it to the recently announced iPhone se.

This has more features: a 90s display, more cameras, a bigger battery faster charging. Those are all trade-offs on the iPhone in return for one of the fastest chips. About so putting everything into perspective, I would happily recommend the room expresso. Anyone looking for a feature-rich, mid ranger. Okay, it’s not got OLED and yes, the chipset could be a bit better, but on the whole I’m impressed with what real me has been able to do here, and that just about concludes our review of the real me SIG’s pro. Please do check the link in the video description to Drew’s full article, the full review. I definitely think it’s worth a read if you’re considering the wrong v6 Pro well should – and I do hit like and subscribe to never miss a video like this one.
