Razer's Project Esther gives you good vibrations while gaming.

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Razer’s Project Esther gives you good vibrations while gaming.”.
You’Re, probably familiar with hapex when it comes to controllers for gaming or even the buzzing in your phone, but have you ever considered that maybe it’s time to think outside of the controller Razer has? And this year at CES 2024, they introduced a new project called project ether. Essentially it takes the haptic engines in a controller and stretches them to be a gaming cushion. It covers both the seat of your chair and the back. So you have 16 different haptic zones that provide action-based feedback, sound based feedback, just to really deepen your immersion in your game. There’S a couple different ways that project Esther works with your games, where certain titles, if the developers have worked alongside Razer they’ll support, if you’re using a weapon if you get hit by something you’ll, have a little bit more feedback.

There are different titles that use purely audio responses, so if you’re playing like Mortal Kombat and you get hit project, Esther will respond to that and you’ll feel a specific buzzing. Maybe if you get punched on the right side, you’ll feel to the right or if you get punched to the left, you’ll feel to the left, just to kind of take you a little bit deeper into your game. Unfortunately, we don’t have all of the specifics for project Esther right now, but Razer should have them in the coming months. In the meantime, you can keep up with all of Android authority.
