Qualcomm Snapdragon, DragonBoard 410c Fire Up at World Maker Faire

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Qualcomm Snapdragon, DragonBoard 410c Fire Up at World Maker Faire”.
Hi, I’m mark Devane cat world Maker Faire 2015, we’re here with Kate L Gandhi, with Qualcomm and she’s, going to tell us a little bit about what there is to do in their booth, Kate, oh hi. This is Kate or Gandhi from Qualcomm. Thank you for this opportunity, so we have many things going on at the booth. First and foremost, we are giving out the robotics puzzle to all the kids and even grown-ups. They are interested in doing it. The main product that we are showcasing here at the booth is the dragon board, Fulton C, which is a single board computer development platform based on Snapdragon 410 processor. It’S sold by arrow electronics, it’s available at $ 75 from aro today, so and then we are also showing some demos based on this dragon board 410 see there are some sensor kits relays, actuators motors, connected to the dragon board.

We have a live game on the Android device, so it showcases the multiple OS support on dragon board port and see yeah. It looks like a great product, but I also want to know a little bit about those robots in the back corner. Is that also running the dragon board? Well, it’s not dragon board, but it is Snapdragon processor, the same Snapdragon processor, that’s on the board, but it’s in the phone. So there are two things going on over there. There is a micro robot which is controlled using an android phone, which has a Snapdragon, 410 processor and kids can race, the micro Rover to the finish line, picking up the block, and we are also showcasing a kid that will be used by FTC. The FIRST Tech Challenge that is using a Snapdragon 410 based Android phone for developing their projects and competing in FTC well, thank you Kay tell the booth is amazing. We really appreciate having you here and hopefully we’ll see it the next one. Thank you. .
