Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Phones Automatically Sending NUDES!?”.
Oh man, this day, sucks, hey, okay, yeah sounds good. Intel seems to have inadvertently revealed their upcoming ninth generation, core processors in a micro code. Update document right after the familiar 8th, gen gang are the names of a bunch of 9000 series chips from the i3 9000 to the i-5 9600 k. However, don’t start squealing in excitement yet because they’re listed as still being part of the 8th generation family of processors, which means these new chips are probably going to be refreshes of coffee lake and are probably using the same 14 animated process we’ve seen since skylake.
But but they’ve got a 9 in front of them, so you don’t see that every day for those of you that are paranoid, that your apps are listening in on you well, they might still be doing that, but it’s slightly less likely than we all thought. Researchers at Northeastern University in Boston studied more than 17,000 apps on 10 different popular Android phones for over a year, and they found no evidence of an app activating a microphone or sending audio when it wasn’t supposed to what they did find evidence of, however, was rogue Screen recording some apps sent screenshots and video files to third parties without user permission, Google has responded, saying they’re working with developers to ensure users are adequately informed of apps abilities and permissions, but there’s a silver lining in all this. We have one new thing to be paranoid about nice.
I’M collecting reasons for paranoia hobby, Oh perfect. Here’S another one. Speaking of sending unwanted pics Samsung phones have apparently been sending random photos from users. Camera rolls to their contacts.
The offending app is Samsung’s default, texting app messages which doesn’t even show users that the files have been sent. Victims have simply been informed by the contacts who received the photos. Samsung is apparently looking into it, but some are speculating. This might have something to do with recent updates from network carriers enabling rcs messaging, which is supposed to make SMS texts, behave more like online messaging apps like what’s up. It would be nice to get to the bottom of this, but it won’t save your mom’s eyes. After they’ve been permanently damaged from finally getting a text from you opening it and instead of a nice love, you mom appreciate you. It’S a badly lit image of your naughty bits. You should call your mom just in general, but also to make sure that hasn’t happened.
