We need to put the header pins in the pins on the Arduino and then solder. The shield in place cut the jumper between irq and pin two. Finally, we need to solder a wire from irq to pin 6. The software side of things includes detecting the card number and encrypting the new password. You can get full instructions at the project page over at make Singh Kham. If you want to hide the build, you can easily mount it underneath the desk for a neater set up.
Whenever you swipe your card over the shield, your password will be typed in making incorrect passwords a thing of the past. .
