NEW Beats Studio Buds + (Unboxing & Review!)

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “NEW Beats Studio Buds + (Unboxing & Review!)”.
All right, Austin, you got ta say these – are the Beats Studio, buds Plus all right. Give me five minutes. I mean there’s no better intro than that uh, but yeah guys. What we’ve got right here are the brand new Beats Studio buds plus these are the second generation. So let’s talk about everything, that’s new and what you can expect from these we’ll start off with an unboxing, so the box it comes in is actually crazy.

Tiny with a couple of pictures of the Beats, but once you pop it open, you get everything pretty efficiently, packed together with the earbuds on one side and the USBC charging cable on the other, as well as some extra ear tips, including an extra small tip for Those of you who struggle with the larger sizes, so there are a total of four tips instead of the typical three. You also get some paperwork in the middle, including a beat sticker. But let’s get to what you really came for here and that’s these transparent, Beat Studio, buds plus and unsurprisingly, really liking the look of these. They remind me of those like nothing, earbuds and I got ta say I’m a fan, alright guys.

So these are it. These are the Beats Studio buds plus now I mean I really still can’t get over the fact that these are transparent, and these are on the first piece of tech. That’S been transparent, we’ve seen it done since, like what the Game Boy Color, probably before that, but that’s when I first got introduced to stuff like this and for something that you wear even when they’re in your ear, I feel like they don’t look too bad you. You don’t like them.

Oh you do Jay they’re different from what we typically have right. Yeah. I feel you Jay, but they still got like the standard.

Colors they’ve got like a black and ivory. So if you want something more typical you’re, not trying to go for the crazy, transparent look, even though I think these are like the winner, then you have your options, so you might be wondering okay, what’s different with these guys and there’s actually a lot beyond the Body being essentially the same as what we used to see with the Beats Studio buds, as well as the shape of the case, but about 95 of the internals are completely different, beats reworked everything to improve the sound quality, the mics the battery internally. It’S pretty much all different, so let’s talk about how much improvement there actually is here.

NEW Beats Studio Buds + (Unboxing & Review!)

So from a design perspective. These are just like the Beat Studio buds. Uh they’ve got this shape where you can just kind of grab the earbuds by their side, and it makes it really easy to throw into your ears.

I personally really like how functional these little stem or not even a stem this. Just this hump, it kind of, is uh. It makes it really easy in terms of adjusting it, removing it it’s just a nice functional piece, but on the look side of things pretty subjective, uh me personally, I don’t think these look bad in the ears all right, so there are like five areas where we’re Gon na see this thing shine, first being compatibility, so one thing: that’s nice is that these don’t have like Apple’s H1 chip. These are using beats’s proprietary chip, so it gives a little bit more in terms of flexibility for different operating systems, so this can work with Apple devices as well as Android devices pretty seamlessly so that same experience you get from just popping the top open and getting That one touch pairing you got on both operating systems; it makes pairing it for those who don’t want to jump into menus, super seamless and you have those software integration so that you can jump in and change settings. It’S really nice to have.

You also get to use the find my device on both platforms, but when it comes to iOS, you do get access to that. Hey Siri Theory. It’S going to be listening for that, as well as the ability to receive over-the-air updates. You won’t be getting that baked into Android devices, but you can use the Beats app to access certain features that might not be baked into the settings or those over-the-air updates.

But I feel like that’s a big deal, whereas before it felt like I don’t know, you might have been using an Apple device with your Android with something like the Beats fit Pro or maybe even airpods. This having beats his proprietary chip makes it feel like it. Can be on any system and you still get the full benefits now.

Another area where we’re going to see some improvement is with the active noise cancellation. So this is going to have a 1.6 times better active noise cancellation. So that’s a little bit more than half.

What does that translate into what does that actually feel like it’s not going to be a huge difference when you’re listening to music? But if you’re, one of those people who I don’t know just have active noise cancellation on without music, you might notice a slight Improvement, but it’s not going to be vast once you’ve got audio on. They sound really good at just canceling out. What’S going on around you, but if you’re just gon na use it by itself, the void that is active noise cancellation gets a little bit deeper with the new one by 1.6 times now, when it comes to the transparency mode, these are two times better than the Previous version – and I feel like this – is a more significant change uh, these sound a little bit more clear, so better performance when it comes to transparency mode. If you just want to walk around with these, not have music on, and you just want to hear your surroundings, these do a really good job.

Are they on the level of like the airpods pro? I don’t think they’re quite there yet, but they’re really they’re, pretty close, so I’m not mad at that. Anybody using transparency mode here is gon na, be pretty happy now. They’Ve also upgraded the microphones on these and use a noise learning algorithm to kind of cancel out. Some of the stuff going on around you, so we’re gon na just put that to the test and you guys be the judges. So what you’re hearing right now is the microphone quality of the original Beats Studio buttons, and this right here is the audio quality that you’ll get from the new Beats Studio.

Buds plus, I didn’t have much to complain about in terms of the audio with the Beats Studio buds, but with these I am hearing punchier base, the low end sounds a bit more prominent than it did previously, and previously it sounded pretty good, but with these I’m Definitely getting a little bit more thump, but what I’m happy about is that it’s not muddy. It sounds like a pretty balanced sound and I think that’s something beats improved on a long time ago, providing like that balanced, sound while still having like that really Punchy bass. Before people would say it was like super muddy, not the experience here. Vocal sounds super crisp, so I think, with most genres of music, you should feel pretty comfortable with these. For me, anything with hip-hop has sounded pretty good, but I like to venture out and listen to some pretty wild genres out there, and I honestly have no complaints like I’m.

Listening to this random Pokemon song, I’m not gon na lie and it sounds like an orchestra. If you like, Pokemon give this album a listen, Braxton birks, he did his thing. It sounds like a Disney movie. I threw some wild things at this and so far no complaints, but there’s another area, that’s improved and I’m actually quite surprised about.

So the battery life has gotten quite a bit better. So now we are getting nine hours of battery life on a single charge, which is up there with some of like the heavyweights, like, I think the not the Beats. Is it the Beats fit Pros or no that’s the new one. The Power Beats yeah there’s so many beats that I’ve gone through man, but the Power Beats were like the champ when it came to battery life. I think those are nine hours uh and we’ve got nine hours here with these tiny earbuds. So that’s a really good job and you get an additional.

I think you get a total of 36 and with an additional 27 from the charging case. That’S good! That’S really! Good when it comes to a pair of truly wireless earbuds, especially it’s not the big hook design which can you know, carry some more battery, these can do it and, of course, it has fast charging so five hours, five hours, five minutes of charging will give you An extra hour of listening, so if you want to quickly charge before your commute, you can go ahead and do that so some really nice improvements compared to the previous generation. I think the previous generation max out at 27 hours on full charge with the case these were getting up to 36., so lots of good stuff now some little bits that I do like about these. They improved the button on the side. So I don’t know about you guys, but for me I got quite a few accidental presses with this design. Like every time I went to take it out, or I tried to interact with it, maybe even adjust the way it was sitting in my ear.

I would accidentally press the B uh. They changed that here so now, as you interact with this there’s, there should be less button presses and even with me messing around with it right now, I’m not accidentally pressing it like, I would have with the previous generation. So if you had that issue before uh, they fixed it now in terms of pricing, these are going to be 169.99, so they sit right between the previous version, which was 149.99 and the Beats fit Pro, which are 199.99 uh. So this is like right in the middle, so we are seeing a price bump compared to the previous generation, but with all of the changes, I think it’s definitely worth the extra 20 bucks uh, especially if you care about, like the new design, the new everything else On the inside, if you like, beats and maybe you’re on the Android side of things, uh this to me is like a no-brainer when it came to the last generation I swapped over from the airpods pro over to the Beat Studio buds until they came out with, Like the Beats fit Pro, which then I jumped onto that, and then I jumped ship again when the airpods Pro 2 came out now I don’t think I can go from the airpods Pro 2 over to these, like I did with the original airpods, because there are Just some new features there uh, like tracking your case and all that kind of stuff which I I really use on a daily basis uh. So I don’t think I can make the leap myself. So if you’re coming from the airpods Pro 2 or something I don’t know if these are going to be the ones you want to jump onto like, I said in previous videos, if I’m going to jump ship, it’s probably going to be for like the Beats fit Pro 2., if that ever comes out – and it has like the cool airpods Pro features, but for these I think, if you’re not looking for any of those specific Apple features, this is going to be an easy buy. I think the real winners here are going to be Android users, there’s a lot of good with these I’m a fan, and for this price point it’s not a bad deal considering some of the best Android earbuds, like the Sony. Wh-1000X are quite a bit more money, but that about wraps it up for this video guys.

Hopefully you enjoyed it if you did be the cool guy girl that gives this video a thumbs up, and hopefully, one day we see he’s fit Pro 2.. I’M waiting for that. Hopefully it has like this transparent design. I’D be all over that.

I like this a lot, but that about wraps it up guys until next one, it’s your average consumer peace say like comment and subscribe there we go like comment subscribe. That’S that’s! The way to do it, .
