So I’ve been waiting on this package for just over a whole month and it’s quite a bit bigger than I was expecting. But inside of that we have five far smaller packages. You might be starting to realize what this could be. Now you probably remember a few months ago, oneplus announced the 1 5, and what I’m about to show you is the most unusual, the most exclusive and the most powerful version of this smartphone welcome to the one plus five JCC plus, and not just one. We have five of these smartphones here and, yes, we are giving all of them away to you guys. Each of these phones has eight gigabytes of RAM 128, gigs of storage and tons of exclusive stuff inside so before we unbox that here is your chance to win one of them, and all I ask of you is that you follow me on my social media accounts. Now all of these works of art, you’re gon na see, Plus that across the box, the packaging and the smartphone itself are all hand drawn by the artist who this model was inspired by whose name I’m not gon na try to pronounce and as we go through. This unboxing and setup of the phone you’re gon na really start to appreciate just how much effort has gone into this limited edition. It’S a pretty bold departure from the classic sleek, aesthetic that the company always tends towards, but it works on this model because that boldness is not consistent throughout the packaging, the physical body of the phone and the software inside of it – and this will start to make More sense, as we set the phone up more or less the only elements that have actually stayed the same are the cable and the charging brick, which is a bit of a missed opportunity. It would have been nice to see perhaps a blue charged cable and then maybe a little bit of a color accent on the charging brick itself now as well as this, we also have another small box inside in which you’ll find not only the sim ejector tool.
An instruction manual, but also just about every single piece of art by this artist, taking a look at the front of the phone. It’S almost identical to the standard, one plus five, but it’s only when you turn the device over that the differences start to emerge. So if we take off this little protector, you’ll see this thing is covered in text, which is actually a message from the artist himself, which reads something along the lines of this is not just a mobile phone. It is a creative machine made for people like artists made for fashion experts and people who chase ideas. Thankfully, the phone does have exactly the same. Soft touch matte finish on the back of the phone that the original does and that’s definitely a plus point.
It does have exactly the same dimensions. One thing you’ve probably noticed is that the buttons are a completely different color. Now, whilst there is a blue, a red and a yellow button on the same smartphone, which for a lot of people, is kind of seem like a little bit too much color, you can’t deny that it attracts a little bit of attention. It spices up and otherwise rather bland experience and is complemented very well by the wallpapers, so built-in by default, are all the same artworks that you’ve seen on little cards within the box, which, for the most part, I think, works pretty well.
The wallpapers complement the color of the buttons and even the packaging we just opened. This phone also has its own unique boot animation, but the core software experience is still exactly the same. We’Ve got the eight gigs of ram 128 gigs of storage and android 7.1.1, and we will get an update android 8.0 soon. So there we have it.
