Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “MetaWear Bluetooth Development Board”.
I’M here at makercon with laura casavik, or what are you showing us here today? Okay, so today we’re going to take a look at metaware, which is a bluetooth development board, and the really neat thing about it is that you can print your own 3d case for it. So you get to make a completely custom bluetooth, wearable device with it all. You have to do is write a really cool app and you can control motors control, the buzzer right from the app and you make any device. You want a heart rate sensor.
Anything that you can think of. You can make with this in 30 minutes or less. What kind of users are you targeting with this? Oh really, cool makers developers, anybody that’s sitting in an office that has any kind of wearable idea out of their head, just go ahead and get a board and start making bluetooth.
Low energy is actually one of the simplest protocols out there when you compare it to wi-fi nfc uh, even zigbee, it’s actually simpler than all of those combined, so bluetooth energy is the way to go great. And what are you showing you? Will you be showing this at maker faire this weekend? We will be. We have a booth at maker for a maker faire, so you can come check us out and get a demo and we’re also going to be at the arm. Booth doing live demos, along with other, really great companies like i think, spark is going to be there electric in all these array of really cool neat devices, all right. So if you’re coming to maker faire this weekend, definitely come check this out and see it for yourself. .
