Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Metal Plating Your 3D Prints”.
Walking around makercon we get a chance to see a few things that are kind of really new in in the industry. We’Ve seen a lot of 3d printing around, but now we’ve checked out this system that comes along after you’ve, 3d printed, your product. To give it an incredible finish here and – and these look like metal sculptures, so let’s just jump right into it here. First off tell me who you are and who you’re with hi, i’m gary, i’m from only studio hi, i’m charlie, all right charlie. So so, take me through this real quick.
I see some really incredible, looking stuff here and explain to me again how this what’s going on here, because i see 3d printed stuff and i see metal stuff. What do you got going on? Yes, because we saw a lot of people, they really want their 3d printed object to be like really fine finishing, but we haven’t seen anything like this on the market, so you can coat it with like fine metal. So from this to this, it’s really easy through orbit one because orbit one is actually controlled by your smartphone. So you only have to set the setting like how thick you want and what kind of metal you use and our um they will automatically set the perimeter for you and you place a stock after two hours. You can get this now. This is neko and copper coated.
Fine finishing out of this. It really does look fantastic, it’s it’s kind of incredible. I thought these were all solid metal when i first walked up, but you pick it up and it’s light you know, and so it’s a bit deceiving. That’S really cool yeah. Well, thank you very much for explaining this to us good luck on it and we’ll we’ll be sure to check out the kickstarter for orbit one at our next convenience because um our kickstarter.
They have more detail about how we do these things, and how – and everything you want to know is detail on the kickstarter project page so definitely check it thanks. Thank you. Thank you very much. .
