Well, yes, of course, but let me explain about a year ago, I purchased this surface pro 3 with the intention making music and doing some live performance with it, and I thought it would make a really interesting subject you before some videos and I’ve done videos on Cubase on I’ll turn on ProTools on reason, FL Studio, studio, one of compared surfaces with services. software and I’m in the middle of working on a review of bit weak while the response has been amazing, got over four thousand subscribers and youtubers foot up with unexpectedly encouraging and nice comments. I’Ve even ended up being invited to a couple of Microsoft: Surface launch parties in New York; okay, so everybody seems to think that I’m not doing a bad job of demonstrating what the surface can do to loser production. Now, Microsoft had just released two new services. The surface pro 4 and the surface book now, unfortunately, I don’t work for Microsoft and I haven’t been able to get them to give me one. I had hoped that the advertising on the blog and on the YouTube channel would start to pay for itself Yeah right.
It doesn’t get anywhere near to covering the work and effort I put into making these videos hello, buy some new hardware. So I’m stuck, but I want to keep making these videos because they’re, cool and interesting and you seem to like them because you’re also cool and interesting, so maybe there’s a solution. We can come up with together. So let me get this straight.
I’M expecting you to club together to buy me a nice shiny surface pro 4 yeah, that’s exactly it look. I’Ve worked out that thirteen hundred quid or about two thousand dollars would buy the mid-range I five. So, if it’s pro for with the pen and the type cover – and that would be all – I need to keep on making these videos just thirteen hundred quid – that’s like 260 people throwing in a fiver and what’s a fiver these days – that’s about the price of a Glossy magazine, or maybe your morning, muffin and a cappuccino, I don’t know what you spend your money, but it doesn’t have to stop there. Oh No. If we get up to 3,000 pounds about four thousand dollars, then we could snag a surface book as well and then I’ll be able to run comparisons of the surface book in the surface pro 4 in user cool situations. That would be pretty awesome and anything above that would give me an opportunity to spend more time produce more videos on the sort of content you want to see.
I thought maybe I could start a live performance sort of demo channel on twitchtv.
