Sake sake, swaggy, okay, I don’t have a clue how to save the name, but this is a legendary idea. Hopefully this is a charger, but it is much much more than that. The actual premise is to basically eliminate all the need for mains connection, at least if this thing does what it says it does, you will actually never in your life again need to be tied down to a mains to charge your phone. Your battery can last forever inside the box. We have the charger itself, we get a micro, USB cable to actually charge a device, and we also get some hooks to actually clip this to a belt buckle or bag. So the actual device itself, I’m not gon na.
Try and pronounce the brand name, it does actually look and feel rather nice. It’S actually built from really great materials. It’S got some high quality fabric in there and a pocket at the back, which is nice so contained within.
This are three of the largest portable solar panels. I’Ve ever seen in fact, once he folded it all out, it’s kind of reminiscent of a picnic mat. It really is quite sizable. It’S one of the claims to fame and the device is that it’s using a 16 watt, mono crystalline solar panel, which is a new technology and apparently has up to 25 percent efficiency, which is much higher than a common solar panel, which tends to hover around 15 % we also have dual USB outlets.
You can actually charge up to two devices at once. So, as you can see, it’s a pretty nice day today here in the UK, but it’s not exactly a place with a lot of Sun and like something out of a fairy tale. You simply just lay down the mat plug in your phone and it’ll start charging. Now the speed of the charge does depend on the intensity of the light, so moving to a shadier area can still continue the charging, but at a slower rate, to achieve the maximum 100 % charge rate.
What you might get from, for example, the mains. You would have to be in really intense sunlight and, for example, being inside the house. Putting it in just a spot of Sun is not going to trigger the actual charging mechanism, and the same thing can be said for indoor lights, it has to be sunlight and it has to be strong. Now you guys probably already know I’m a big envy of the US, the food, the weather yeah, but for you guys, this is an awesome proposition.
You get Sun, probably 70, to 80 percent of the year and in those climates this is just amazing. I mean I think, that the the whole idea of being able to replace your mains charger is a revolution. There’S also a nifty pocket at the back, which you can actually use to carry your phone or tablet that you’re actually using. This is a fantastic device for those people that can actually take advantage of it for other colder countries or countries with much less Sun.
