This is exciting. You’Ll. Remember this for the rest of your young lives uh. This is a this is the moment i think we’ve been waiting for for all weekend.
This is in the lead up to expand. This is the thing that i’ve been most excited about. Uh.
We did this for the first time ever at the first ever expand back in uh back in march in san francisco and easily the best part of the show yeah i mean finding people making new cool, innovative things, and we were already seeing like the cream of The crop and then and you can see which one that’s it’s interesting. This is this – is the cream of the cream of the cream of them. Yeah they’ve gone through lots of uh. I mean everybody. Obviously, everybody who made it to the show or all of us are fantastic yeah.
We were saying earlier that um any one of those could easily come to work. Yeah yeah there’s a lot in here i mean you know, i’m assuming that i i get a pay raise after the fantastic job that i’ve done to expand that i i will uh. I will be picking up um. You know i was a big fan of the of the grow cubes um.
If you’ve been out on the floor, you’ve absolutely seen those they almost overshadowed the giant. Stop your robot a little. I was going to say compact.
Would that sound, really accurate at all uh? The cubes that you put in your apartment, you just like the disco lighting. I like the lighting, i like the fog, i like the nutrient-rich fog, i like the carousel, and i like the fact that you can grow some firmness as well. So it’s kind of a win-win-win for me yeah. What’S on the notes, what uh? What sticks out in your mind at the top five um? Well, i think that scanner – i just keep on thinking all the different stamps. So there’s a lot of art books like chronicle books, i’ve done books for chronicle and things they do a lot of art books where they have like stickers and badges and little cracker, jack toys and stuff for a production designer or something like that. They are. It’S going to become a mission-critical device, it’s just it’s like photoshop is they’re going to have to have this hardware so that one really stands out. The wire thing is yeah diy.
That is a game changer for fabrication. For for small businesses and individuals, you could start making like cool furniture and structural elements and artistic things. Never before have people been able to do it now, they’re going to so i mean there has to be a big. I mean that had to be a big hit on the floor too. I’M guessing oh yeah that were out there yeah it’s it’s it’s.
It feels like it’s sort of the next step of cnc design, yeah it’s a tool, unlike anything, that’s been affordable before for people. So that’s like something that when i saw my jaw dropped yeah, my bell was really cool, as somebody who rides uh rides my bike around the crowded cities of new york, yeah totally uh, totally programmable ringtones. For my bicycle yeah. Absolutely it beats the little yeah. So every all of you guys are great, i’m sure and uh.
Oh and smart power stuff was really fantastic as well like a low-cost way to do home, automation, yeah and it beats. I’Ve tried the various apps where you look at you know food and unless you’re eating fast food or packaged food, which isn’t the best idea when you’re trying to control your diet, yeah and also just don’t look at it. You don’t want to know yeah exactly if you’re eating it anyway, just just go for it yeah and then you can make your own meals yeah and as you make them, you can find out that it makes that cool nutritional label. For you. That looks just like something you’re used to so i mean all.
This stuff is cool, so fortunately, we’ve got uh. We’Ve got two different tiers of prizes. We’Ve got our. We have our illustrious panel of judges but they’ve jetted off to far away plans to do important, stuff they’ve done the hard work they have done, the hard work. Thankfully, we are the ones who had to to to pick one one big winner and then, of course, the people at home. We have the reader’s choice as well, so everybody who’s at the show got a chance to vote. Um everybody yeah everybody watching online got a chance at once. Yes, so uh are you gon na start with the uh, the judge’s choice, yeah yeah. I’Ve got the judge’s choice here, so uh i’m about to read. Can i have a drum roll there? We go the winner is all right.

So much you’re really excited that is not good outside of the expand building by the way. So you can only use that on when you spend it here, we yeah i personally. I cannot wait to see what people start making with diyer. Oh we’re so excited to have people try it i mean we. We want to put it out there as far out as possible to see how many different things people want to make. I really am excited to see it cool so enjoy it.
