Make a Custom Box Set

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Make a Custom Box Set”.
Box sets are a great way to organize and display your collections, but you don’t have to buy them. It’S really easy to make your own first. You need to decide on what the contents of your box set will be. You can use books movies or your favorite magazine. Next, you need some sheets of solid cardboard to make the box you can buy these at most craft stores, but i decided to salvage the material from a couple of old hardcover books. You’Ll also need some masking tape and printer sticker paper once you have all the materials you’re ready to start making your box stack. The contents of the box, together on top of the cardboard, then trace the outline repeat this for each side of the collection except the spine, using a sharp knife cut out each of the sections just outside the traced line.

Now you need to tape the sides together to make the box start by laying the five pieces side by side on your work. Surface then apply strips of tape to attach each of the pieces together. The easiest way to ensure that the box will perfectly fit the contents is to have them inside the box as you’re assembling it so place your set on one of the side pieces and fold the box around. It then apply tape to each of the outside corners and edges of the box.

Now you need to add some cover art. I decided to use images and graphics from the magazine itself scale. The images to match the size of the box and print them out on sticker paper then cut out the images leaving an extra half inch of blank material around each side. Now you need to apply the stickers center, the graphics of the spine sticker on the box and press it in place in each corner of the sticker, cut out a small square going up to the corner of the box. This will let you neatly: wrap the sticker around the sides of the box, apply the front and back stickers in the same way, but trim the spine edge of the sticker to be flush with the spine of the box. If necessary, you can help hold the stickers together with masking tape. Lastly, apply the top and bottom stickers trim these to be even with the front back and spine of the box. Now your custom box set is complete. You can use this basic procedure to make cases for any of your collections. So why not make one for yourself thanks for watching and check back next week for more diy hacks and how to’s .
