Hey guys, this is tom with the verge and i’m here with lg’s latest insta view fridge. So samsung did a fridge um very similar to this uh earlier in the year um, but lg’s gone one step further. This is actually a translucent panel, so you could actually see the products are in your fridge behind. What’S really cool is there’s a touch screen and a tablet on here, so you can add stickers, um stuff, like messages from your family diet plans all that sort of stuff all the sort of stuff you’d expect from a smart fridge, i guess, and but the real Trick here is, if i swipe from the bottom, i get a windows: 10 taskbar um, you get the full start screen um as you’d expect. Not real you’d really expect on the fridge um, but you can get like the weather apps. You can go back to microsoft. Edge launch up a browser watch youtube all sort of crazy stuff that you, i don’t know if you want to do this sort of fridge, but it’s here um, but at the same time, whenever i’m looking at that content. If i go back to youtube, you can still see like the the beers that seeing this fridge behind me, because it’s fully translucent behind and it’s a 29 inch display on here. So you can pretty much get a lot of apps on here and i don’t know if you could side by side with them, but pretty big display.
