So, look i’m not going to sit here and tell you that a robot vacuum is the next best thing that you’re gon na spend days and weeks dreaming about and clamoring over is a vacuum. But dreamy is making some of the most compelling options in the space right now and you may have never heard of them and while yes, they are vacuums, the type of tech that personally, i tend to gravitate to tech that sits in the background and can make My life easier in this case also cleaner. This is a space that is just exploding like nuts with competition. I think anytime, competition in any space. That’S a good thing. Not only can companies make new products to sell us, but we get better products because of the competition and vacuums from dreamy bring that point home hard. So i’m a big fan of robot vacuums.
I’Ve been using one, for i know it feels like 10 years, and once you do, i feel like it’s impossible to go back to normal non-robot vacuums and i’ve used different versions of it. Some that are squares, some that are discs some that are square and discs. All of them have terrified my pets and all of them have done some version of clean, but they’ve gotten better over the years and the z10 pro is the top of what you can get from the robot vacuum space right now and it’s everything you need to Not only get a clean house, probably playing to my laziness, one that i don’t have to think about so in the og days of robot vacuums uh, they were good, but once i got those little round, lidar disks things just got even better and that’s the case With the z10 pro, so it’s got a lidar scanner built into the top, and it’s going to map the environments kind of all around and do intelligent object, recognition and as someone who’s got. Kids dog toys, shoes, um and just generally things all over the place. Uh. This feature is a must, and that was a big barrier behind some of the new robot vacuums that i’ve been trying to find there’ll, be a shoe on the floor and it’ll stop it or my daughter will leave a necklace on the floor or it’ll get sucked Up and kill the vacuum. Those are things that i deal with on a daily basis and the dreamy’s been able to kind of go around those things which, for me, has been really cool. Okay, so more on it, not only vacuums uh, but it’s also gon na mop, which is nice too. It’S a two to one solution, which is great. So if you’ve got carpet or hardwood floors back, you can clean everywhere without going to get two separate devices. It’S got 4 000 pascals of suction, which i had to look up what that meant, but suffice it to say it sucks hard and sucks strong and sucks everything up uh. It also puts the smarts to use with four different suction modes: different environments and that’s what lets it clean. Your whole house and crazy uh. It can clean for up to 150 minutes which, by my keen math uh, is two and a half hours, which is a very long time for a vacuum to be running. Think about how long you probably run a vacuum yourself. You’Ll probably talk in a matter of minutes. This is two and a half hours of pure vacuuming action, um, so presumably it’ll get your dirty house less dirty. Of course everything you’d expect from a robot vacuum. Is here too there’s an app where you see where the vacuum is cleaned and see what it’s maps you can also set schedules and zones where it’s supposed to clean it works with alexa too.
So you can tell your vacuum to clean the house. Whenever you want uh, it’s got pretty much everything you’d want in a robot vacuum, so the vacuum itself is great, but this is something that i hadn’t tried before and it’s awesome. It’S got an automatic dust disposal. So for me, the worst thing about using these vacuums is that i forgot to empty them all the time and that’s still easier than vacuuming every day emptying it out start auto empty. So yeah you can empty yourself, but why do things yourself when the robot can do it for you and with this you only have to deal with really that every other month, when you have to empty the whole bin, the big comes with a four leader dustback: That lasts up to 65 days, so in that time, 65 days, you’re, not thinking about emptying your robot vacuum will go out. Vacuum, come back empty itself and charge, and you friend have to do literally nothing, nothing at all, and you can say that your house is vacuumed and clean. That’S a game changer and it starts to fulfill the let’s say: dream of never thinking about vacuuming again.
Um. Now, at this point, you need the tesla robot to empty the vacuum every month or so and we’re officially living in the future, but even though the future is not quite here yet um, it’s still about as good as it gets the z10 pro it maps out. The house mops and vacuums parks empties charges up to get ready for the next day. It’S very awesome. I know vacuums are not the sexiest thing to talk about, but everybody puts stuff on the floor. Everybody’S house is dirty.
This makes it less dirty and also makes your life easier now look having a robot vacuum is awesome, especially when it comes to one like the z10 pro, but sometimes you just want something to clean up a mess, and that’s where the t30 comes in, and it’s Kind of weird talking about a good like vacuum um, but i mean like look at it. The thing is high-end uh. It has designed to go with it, but that build, isn’t all for looks actually has a carbon fiber body which you might not expect on a vacuum, makes the whole shebang just easier and lighter to use, and since i take this around the house, do quick cleanups That lightness is greatly appreciated and makes you feel like. I could raise some bmws uh all that carbon fiber.
You also get a bunch of different attachments for this, depending on what kind of cleaning you’re looking to do so behind the furniture and the stairs and the car narrow spaces. There’S some attachment to get that job done. Design aside, though, how well is this thing? Actually clean, um cleans very well actually, for a few reasons, uh. So, first, let’s talk about that suction uh! It’S got a 150 000 rpm motor inside that provides very strong suction beyond that, though, you get great suction great battery life, it can last for up to 90 minutes to eco mode, so more than enough time to clean a large space and one cool, but small, Appreciated feature is a continuous working mode. You just hit one button.
The vacuum will keep working without having to hold down a trigger. Listen, i’m not so lazy to hold down a trigger as hard, but if i don’t have to do something um because of who i am as a person, i’m probably not gon na, do it, okay, but even better. The t30 has built-in smarts too there’s auto, adapt, cleaning mode, that’ll change the suction, depending on surfaces so like carpet or hardwood, and even see what the vacuum is thinking on screen so actually it’ll show the dust level it’s detecting.
So you can see what the t30 is thinking. It’S just cool to see that in action uh because of this mode, you can get the best of both worlds, super strong suction in really dirty areas or eco mode. In others, you can get the best cleaning possible. Alright, so dreamy offers a large lineup of different vacuums. So while some of these are top end options, so something you can find at different price points and feature sets, so that would be something like the l10 or their d9 vacuum. The l10 is essentially the same thing as a z10 pro, but does not come with that. Admittedly, pretty awesome, auto empty station still has the lidar optical avoidance feature still has a great suction, just a more affordable price and for even less you can pick up the d9 robot vacuum. This is for those folks that want a cost-effective solution. It’S only 250 bucks, but still have the smarts of a robot. My favorite feature about this.
One, though, is the runtime skiing lasts for the same 150 minutes of continuous cleaning like the others, but at this low price point that’s a very long time plus it still has lidar and ai built in for navigation.
