How to Edit Videos for YouTube: How I Edit Videos on iPhone 2016

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “How to Edit Videos for YouTube: How I Edit Videos on iPhone 2016”.
So in the YouTube world editing is key. You can make the dumbest most stupid, most boring video in the world. Interesting, if you know what to do with the clips, so I’m going to show you how to edit videos on your mobile phone and we’re going to use a free, app called pocket video. So to begin with, there’s a whole section called templates. These are sort of pre-made clips that you can edit around and play with and they’ll be useful for an intro or an outro.

There’S a pretty nifty section about filters. It basically allows you to change the look of each of your different clips and, whilst it’s not going to give you all true fine control, it’s actually very, very handy, convenient and hassle-free, so Alethea is very accessible for beginners. There is actually quite a lot of fine-tuning. You can do you can do all that sort of standard stuff you’ll be able to do with a desktop video editor things like trimming.

The video things like cutting it and pasting Clips together. Now editing on such a small screen can take a bit of getting used to, but after a bit you do develop some fluency in it and the operating system is pretty manageable. It’S taking into account that you just have less screen stay on your phone than perhaps your laptop one of the most amazing things about the app is its seamless integration with YouTube from within the app you can simply search YouTube, video go on to it and then Choose a section you want to download and insert as a clip in your own video as a cherry on top. That also means instant access to YouTube’s background music. Whilst it is restricted to a maximum of 1080p rendering the video was extremely fast, sorting out the title, tags description and video status was all done without actually leaving pocket video. So you can have a gaming montage, a hilarious vine or even a snapchat story, sent straight out to the social media of choice, as well as the ability to do sketches texts, stickers and all the trimming you could possibly want. You can also do a voiceover, so that means actually pre recording a clip and then recording your voice on top, which tends to be what I do with a tech review.

One rather strange omission is the lack of transitions, so you won’t be having Clips fading into each other, but it’s not really a huge deal. I don’t really use them in my content anyway. The small screen size was a little bit annoying to begin with, but I soon got the hang of it and it didn’t really become an issue and within pocket video, you actually realizes a lot of opportunities for free promotion, there’s a whole community with inside the app Which can be very useful so now I’m gon na roll an example clear something actually made using the pocket video app.

So that’s everything from this whole intro to the color correction, to all the different trimming. There’S also some pretty funky background music going on, but I decided it was easier if I just talked over it so guys that is pocket video, the most simple editing, app I’ve ever used on a mobile device thanks a lot for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video and be sure to check out the out. The link is in the description below I’ll see you next time. .
