Not off of you know, ebay or someplace like that playing extraordinary prices, but finding some in stock here and there, and even on ebay, we’re starting to see the prices go down on both the 6000 series and 30 series from nvidia so looks like they are coming Down but here’s actually a question that i’d rather present to everybody out there, who is a gamer and see where you guys feel about this and then i’m going to come to you like, like you, know guys the devil’s advocate as well in this particular video. So in some ways as a gamer do you feel like both amd and nvidia have taken just a total piss on gamers, because, let’s just face it, they know that miners are out there. They know that people are out there who are doing just like you know, weird kind of stuff in the crypto market and all kinds of stuff, but yet they’re still selling their cards directly to these people, making it so that any gamer out there has to pay. You know a fortune in money for a video card. Now, maybe we’re going to get a lull in this right now and you’ll be able to get a video card for a little while.
But how long will this last and as cryptocurrency you know, seems to be getting more and more accepted? I mean i go to the gas station down the street from my house and they accept cryptocurrency here in indiana at a local gas station yeah. They do so. Obviously cryptocurrency is becoming more and more acceptable. So, as this happens, could we really expect to see honestly um video card prices stay low for very long because as the next generation, you know, the next generation of miners comes out the next iteration of video cards and generations? At the same time, video cards may be bought up and sucked up by those markets again completely killing and devastating the video card market. Now we all know that everywhere, pc gaming gaming in general has become more popular crazily through the pandemic.
I mean it’s just you know, people didn’t have anything to do, but what’s really crazy is as more and more gamers were out there to bolster the market. The more people that were there to bolster and make the market bigger, the less and less available high-end parts were out there. That’S just the facts: it’s just the way that it was even now you can get some parts, but a lot of the high end parts are just on a hiatus. Now, i’m not really going to include intel on the pissing on gamers thing recently, because we all know that intel just pissed on the entire world for years by basically having the same cpu be released for years and years and years with just tiny little bumps. In what the heck, it was just sitting on their asses, making a butt load of cash, so they already pissed on the entire market for years.
That’S a whole nother bag of wax, but currently it’s been more amd and video, because their cards are the ones that are being sold onto these other markets. You know these black markets, gray markets, whatever the heck you want to call them. They’Ve been caught selling directly to these markets now. Do you guys feel that these guys selling directly to these markets are totally pissing on gamers, because i mean honestly if i was probably somebody who was a stockholder at nvidia or amd and don’t be misunderstood at the end of the day, amd and nvidia both have To answer to their stockholders, they don’t have to answer to me. They don’t have to answer to you.
They’D have to answer the mom and pop or the gi, joe down the street or the guy on the farm. They don’t have to answer to. None of those people unless they are actual major stockholders in nvidia same thing at amd, they answer to their stockholders.
Now, as a stockholder they’re, probably going wow, we sold every single, solid dairy card that we made and made a shite ton of profit on it. As we did it, and no cards are sitting on the shelf, so for them they probably really really don’t care at the end of the day. You know you know about gamers i mean, let’s just face it.
Gamers are a part of the market, but for nvidia, especially gamers, aren’t the biggest part of the market. They have such a huge other market with ai and deep learning and all this other stuff and the same thing with intel amd’s in into stuff with has to do with film and stuff, like that, i don’t know how deeply embedded in the medical stuff so don’t Come out and throw stuff at me go amd is as well i’m just not sure they may be as well, so don’t get mad if you’re an amd fan, i’m not trying to cut amd down here. I’M just saying i know that nvidia is in these markets, and i know that amd is definitely involved in film and stuff like that, because their names come up in a lot of conversations as being behind certain movies and 3d stuff. That’S in those movies, so they are getting more and more into that particular market video cards have been the bane of the gamer’s existence, though literally for years um.
Just the other day, honestly, i was looking at some of my older videos um, and i was just like oh whoa, what hold on a second here. This has been going on this long, so yeah. This has been going on a long time i mean i was looking at video from back in like 2017 and even back, then that was on the amd. Only side of things, though, video cards were getting pretty scarce, to get on the amd side of thing because of the mining stuff. You know. Cryptocurrency people want that de niro that cash you know, especially since it’s not just in american currency, it’s cryptocurrency, which means that if that market ever balances out and actually becomes something, it will probably be the biggest change in the entire world and america is trying to Shoot for having a completely paperless market anyway, so if we go completely paperless cryptocurrency might be the way to go, because you know that may be the future, so there may be a lot of people that are ahead of the curve you know and we’re going well. I just wanted to play some crazy games and have some fun. You know i’ve never actually built any crypto machines.
Ever i’ve had opportunities. I’Ve had video cards. I’Ve just been like. I don’t know about that.
You know it’s always seemed kind of not to be stable, but i’m thinking that possibly i made a mistake in that, and maybe i should have actually paid better attention to that market because it seems like now it’s actually becoming more of a reality and if it Truly, does balance out and become a solid currency. Well, that is going to be a really really big changing thing, especially in currency markets. Around the world i mean you can spend that anywhere. It probably is going to value about the same 10.
Digital credits is as good. There is 10 digital credits are good over here. That’S what i’m hoping for. I hope the digital credit balance is out, so the whole market around the world is based off.
You know that type of thing. So, no matter where you go, your money’s pretty good, you know what i mean now for those people who like to take vacations to crazy countries where you know the dollar gets you 5 000 of their dollars. That might really suck.
But you know those bays might be long past and that ship might have sailed a long time ago. Anyways, who knows the future’s always unclear, but that’s it really as gamers. Do you think that me and you have a right to really complain about who and video or amd or anybody else sells their products to? I know that it really does suck butt and bites ass at the end of the day to have to pay extraordinary prices for stuff extremely ordinary prices for things, but i mean it’s kind of like kind of that kind of market. You know it just is it sucks for the gamer, but i don’t really know if we have a right to hate on those companies just because they sell their card and try to make money? Is it showing loyalty to the gamer where any gamer i’ve said this before this is where the fanboy stuff just really should never come in man? These companies are, not your fans, don’t be, their fan, buy what is always best for you spend your money wisely, and the video card prices are coming down, buy them now why you can get them, because i guarantee you if the cryptocurrency market’s going to change in The future you’re definitely going to be seeing these companies selling more and more of these cards. Intel 2 will become guilty to people that are doing cryptocurrency.
Hopefully, what we’ll see, though, is they’ll actually come out with a solid cpu that will do cryptocurrency better than any gpu has ever done before, and maybe the market will switch.
