Google Pixel 7

Google Pixel 7

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Google Pixel 7”.
Thanks a morning brew for sponsoring a portion of this video, so google pixel’s been a lot of things over the past few years. It’S been flagship, it’s been mid-range, it’s been everything in between you. Don’T always know what you’re going to get what you do know what you’re going to get with. Google is with their a series of phones, their 4a and their 5a were for them runaway hits and offered incredible value and incredible performance and a really nice package. And now rumors are heating up that successor is coming out.

The 6a is just around the corner. Let’S talk about what we know, i guess better, or we think we know [ Applause ], so the pixel, 6 and 6 pro are two phones that help me sort of reinstall my faith in google. When it comes to the pixel line. I love those phones. We got a radical new design so safe to say that pixel 7 is most likely going to share a majority of that just established design, language uh, some very early leaks and rumors show just that the pixel, 7 and 7 pro will bring that same visor design Along the back with a multi-camera setup, we don’t have any concrete rumors on lenses or sensors that can be used, but we should probably get the same lineup of cameras along the back. Judging by how long they stuck around on previous pixel lines, uh with the seven rocking two cameras, one wide ultra wide and the pro in three adding telephoto to the mix and when it comes to the front of the phone, you’ll, probably see more distinct changes there. Starting with the front-facing camera so based on actually patents filed, it looks like google’s gon na be ditching the hole, punch and bringing the camera under display. Now, we’ve seen on display cameras before looking at you z-fold 3.. The results are say mixed at best, but for a pixel phone which everybody knows and google knows, cameras are the jam. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. They’Ve earned that when it comes to cameras, but it’s still a see it to believe it type thing for me, it hopefully, though, will be an improved version of this tech, like i said that just is generally better than what we’ve seen before. Don’T get me wrong. It’S a cool idea. I would just like to not notice it under the display and have it truly blend into the screen.

Another thing that looks interesting is this image here from: let’s go digital. It’S the fact that there is a sensor sandwiched between the two cameras under display and, if you remember it looks very reminiscent of project solely and if it is i’m supposed to have it make a return. I mentioned this before product solely was really accurate and robust.

When it came to facial recognition and it’s better than the in-screen fingerprint scanner, in my opinion, so with universal dissatisfaction on the in-screen fingerprint reader on the pixel 6 pro, hopefully we see google revise this tech because their fish recognition on the 4 pro i thought was Awesome and maybe we’ll have in-screen fingerprint reader back here as well, have redundant ways to unlock your phone, which is awesome so before i get some more sort of pixel coverage, i want to just share a little bit about my habits. Get a little bit personal, a big portion of my day is spent just like mouth gape, doing this just doom scrolling uh through social media, reading articles on what’s going on in the world articles on sports, and everything in between that, though, no longer has to be. The case thanks to morningbrew, it is now a daily newsletter that gives you all the news you can want in one easy to read easy to digestible format. It’S completely free, whether you’re into tech, business or finance.

Whatever you want to learn about morning brew. Has you covered so today’s morning, brew, for example, covered the rise and fall of interest rates over the years from 1955 until now, and it was all done in a really quick and easily digestible paragraph. So now it makes me a more educated, interesting person.

It’S brought all my news into one easy to digest place and it is completely free if you want to check out morningbrew, we’ll put a link down below or just go here, uh to sign up all right. So now that we talked about the high end pixel seven, let’s talk a bit more about the mid-range with the 6a uh. The six egg will supposedly have predictably a lot in common with the pixel six have the same flat display. Thank you for no curved edges. Uh and camera design, but it’ll be in just a smaller footprint. All right, so spec wise looks like we’re not gon na, be sacrificing too much so 6.2 inch punch, hole, display oled should be awesome and have 120 hertz refresh rate. If there’s any rumor that i could see changing, it would be that uh and probably dropping down to 90 hertz, but right now it stands. 120 hertz is being tested, at least on the 6a powering it they’re, going the same approach that apple’s done with their se phone and giving it a flagship processor.

It should be the same 10 search chipset that we see in the 6 and 6 pro, which is awesome where things start to get like conflicty uh is when it comes to ram uh. Some reports we’re saying six gigs, some we’re saying eight uh, certainly i’m hoping for the latter, but my assumption is to get that price down we’re, probably looking at a six gig ramp phone, which is fine, but i think eight sort of gives the phone more longevity. Uh storage size really: nice, 120 gigabytes of storage, no expandable storage, a nice size battery too a 4 800 milliamp hour battery 30 watt charging in there on the camera side.

In that visor we should see a 12.2 megapixel main shooter and a 12 megapixel ultrawide. Just the two cameras on the front: eight megapixel selfie software, wise android, 12. uh.

Another spec – that kind of jumped out at me is that battery size, 4 800 milliamp hours. Like i said for context, the pixel 6 has a 4 614 million power battery. So the a variant is going to give us stronger battery performance than its more expensive counterpart, which is pretty cool.

As far as the cameras concerns, we won’t be getting that 50 megapixel main shooter, that’s in the flagship devices, but it’s understandable. I get that for the price point it makes sense. Uh 6a is going to have that same 12.2.

Megapixel main camera uh, the 5a has which is sort of not cutting edge, but certainly very, very capable uh code found actually in the google camera app suggests. This phone will have the same 12, megapixel ultrawide that we have in pixel six, so it’s nice upgrade. It also looks like google’s taking a page from apple with their uh se variant and adding their newest silicon to their complete lineup of phones. I am totally here for it, people that are buying the a series tend to keep their phones for longer and having the latest chipset ensures.

Their phones are gon na, be supported for as long as possible, usually three-ish years. I don’t know what google’s gon na do with the pixel 7.. I do know it’s probably going to look pretty identical, hoping they fix the things that need to be fixed, so in-screen fingerprint reader was hit or miss for some people.

It was fine for some people. It was absolute garbage and for some it got better, but for very few, was it perfect every time so adding project solid back, giving you sort of redundant biometrics is awesome. The camera systems on the pixel 6 line are absolutely amazing. Get a little bit better. Give me maybe a bit more zoom.

Google Pixel 7

Add some more machine learning onto the phone i’ll be a pretty happy camper. I think the pixel 6 and 6 pro were so good, there’s not much work. That has to be done with the seven aside. From the same things, you get to say every year right, it’s our fastest phone, yet new processor, all that kind of stuff. I love it i’m here for it.

I hope they keep the price of the 6a at that 350 400 mark, even if it sacrifices 120 hertz and they’re gon na sell a lot of these phones, and it does appear that google is back on track. It does not seem that people know what they’re going to get with the pixel line, with the a line you’re going to get the latest processor, which is awesome with some maybe outdated cameras and less ram than the flagship with the flagships you’re going to get the Most amazing camera experience that you can have on a phone you’re going to get the best software experience. You can have on android and you’re going to get incredible support for the company that makes the software all. That is awesome and people now know what to expect from google.

That seems pretty cool to me. So that’s what we at least think we know about the pixel 6a, 7 and 7 pro .
