Just when you thought you knew everything about Google’s next phones. Think again as yes, all we need now is like an unboxing, because Google just spilled the beans on everything of the pixel 8 Pro rumors point to an interesting set of camera upgrades, but not all for the pro iPhones and it seems Samsung, is working on. Iphone 15 and 16 models are expected to stick to Qualcomm modems. Now it is unclear if an apple design modem would have any consumer benefits over Qualcomm modems, but if the company’s Apple silicon on is any indication, it’s hard to not speculate that there could be a benefit we’ll see. Now, let’s talk about Samsung, since we have uh new details about an upcoming Fe device, that’s not what you think earlier today, a certification document has been leaked online, showcasing the upcoming Galaxy buds, uh Fe, aligning with previous rumors of the company, focusing on bringing Fe products. More often, the biggest surprise is that the buds Fe adopt the same design of the Galaxy buds which uh I understand, because it probably is pretty hard to change the look of something so small. It’S likely that the Galaxy buds Fe take on some sort of improvements made by Samsung within the past couple of years and Implement them into tried and true designs. Now, as for the rest of the specifics, we don’t really know much or if it will come with ANC or pass through in any capacity. Nor do we have any information on the driver, type or size. Now, as for the pricing, we can assume that the Fe variant will come in at a more reasonable price. I mean for reference the Galaxy buds 2 Pro right now for 230 bucks Butts 2 or 150, so it could just be that these ones are 100 bucks but yeah. For now we can only speculate, but I’m sure more information will continue to surface in the upcoming months. Finally, the release date is unknown 2, but the report mentions that we can expect the earbuds sometime around February next year. Moving on, let’s go back to talking about Apple, since we have a report that shares detailed information about the camera.
Specs of the iPhone 15. Cupertino is focusing a lot on camera performance of the upcoming Series. So, let’s start with the base models, both the iPhone 15 and 15 plus will get bumped to a 48 megapixel main sensor, but the report suggests that it isn’t the same sensor as the current iPhone 14 pro. Instead, both models will get a new Sony sensor.
That will have a stack design which will help reduce the readout time and low light. We actually heard heard about this recently, but then moving on to the pro. It will apparently remain with the current 48 megapixel sensor that we have, but we’ll get a new better. Ultra wide camera, we can also expect improvements to the telephoto camera quality, despite the possibility that it could be the same hardware.
And finally, the pro Max models get the spotlight this year, since it will be the first model to include a periscopic zoom lens. That is reported to go between 5x and 10x. Analysts suggest that the company decided to make the Periscope exclusive to the bigger model because of the extra space the phone has, the camera module will be noticeably larger than what’s on the 15 Pro and the previous generation. Pro Max, we also heard that next year’s Pro Models will be bigger, which will allow the Periscope to fit in both models so yeah.
It seems that the pro Max is the way to go this year and finally, for the most interesting news today. Let’S talk about Google because uh guess what they just leaked: the pixel 8. Once again it don’t you just love how this is happening a week before Apple’s event I mean even ice. Universe has been all over Galaxy leaks, but anyways this time the flagship pixels listings accidentally went, live on a pixel simulator website providing a 360 degree look of the phone for all angles. I mean the simulator showcased, the pixel 8 Pro in three colors Sky, Licorice and Porcelain. It also revealed the location of the microphone’s USBC ports and power and volume keys, and confirm the addition of that temperature sensor on the camera rear visor, which makes me wonder what features Google will be offering with this temperature sensor. Also, it was rumored.
The company had plans to skip the physical SIM card and follow Apple’s footsteps for esim, but it seems the simulator shuts that down – and I am so happy about that, because US carriers do not understand how to do esim right. We do see the SIM tray that we saw on the pixel 7 Series last night. The simulator was still usable, but Google has since removed it and hey it’s not like if we’re gon na act like if we didn’t see it and if that’s not enough spoilers for you, Evan Blass posted a pixel 8 Pro render in the sky.
Shade rumors were previously referring to this new color as sky blue.
