EA PROMISES no loot boxes...?

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “EA PROMISES no loot boxes…?”.
Wow the tech news it just it just keeps on coming. Doesn’T it like a tidal wave of soft-serve from a $ 12 buffet, but we promise you it’ll be a lot better than that sounds today. Americans are if they’re organized filing their taxes, but Europeans might soon be dealing with a far worse kind of government encounter. Today the European Union gave final rubber stamp approval to its new copyright directive, which has been a huge source of controversy for quite literally months. Opponents argue that the law will both overburden businesses and stifle free expression online, because not only will sites that host video content, including behemoths like Facebook and YouTube, have to obtain licenses first.

They will also need to pass all content through copyright infringement detecting filters. So not only might this effectively ban things like memes, it’s also unclear how in the world, the EU plans to enforce a scheme this far-reaching, especially because they did say I think at one point, that there was a car vote for memes. What’S the difference between a meme and some other kind of copyright infringement, I I don’t know how they managed to pass a law like this in the first place that makes about as much sense as like that law in mobile that bans confetti yeah, because confetti is Its litter and and there’s a way to enforce it. It was announced last month that Apple is going to offer a new gaming subscription service as part of Apple arcade. That really does sound like the stuffiest arcade.

EA PROMISES no loot boxes...?

Doesn’T it the pretentious arcade, but it wasn’t clear exactly what to expect from it other than pretension well, a recent report might shed some light on the situation, as Apple is apparently investing about a half a billion dollars into getting this project off the ground. Now, obviously, that isn’t a small amount of money, but at the same time, major triple-a titles can have budgets into the nine figure. So this could be an into that Apple wants to focus on having a large number of simpler games that might take less development effort.

But would still be up to a given quality standard. A number of well-known developers like giant squid, Konami and Sega are all involved. So hopefully there will be some pretty robust options.

EA PROMISES no loot boxes...?

I’M hoping for Angry Birds, 13 yeah, like Marvel Edition EA, doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to microtransactions in games, but the company is asking gamers for a chance to learn from its mistakes. I mean you, don’t have to ask us for a chance to learn. You just learn anyway.

This weekend the developer released the trailer for Star Wars, Jedi fallen order. Coming this November. Importantly, EA asserted that the game would be ready, carry yourself completely devoid of microtransactions and loot boxes and taking it a step further. The company said they wouldn’t surprise users by adding them later on. Personally, I believe it because no one was gon na be surprised when they added it later on. Hey many gamers were understandably skeptical.

I mean the fact that this is a single-player game might have decreased the temptation the DA could have had to add these features. That could give players an advantage over human rivals, but I guess it remains to be seen how this works, so the game itself is set in between episodes 3 .
