They are shown a virtual fret board, with colored notes, to indicate strings on numbered lanes for Frets to indicate what note they should play on the guitar prior to playing any song. The game has the player check the tuning of the guitar. Each song is split into phases and, depending on how accurate the player is during a phase, the next May provide more difficult note patterns or if the player’s accuracy is not good, it will fall back to a lower difficulty level. Songs can also be played in a riff repeater mode, where the player can select a specific section of a song to practice and perfect with options on controlling the speed and note density level.
