Thank you for tuning in to our coverage of e3 2021, the biggest gaming event of the year next up is ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege updates. The community has spoken and Ubisoft heard you Rainbow. Six Siege will gain crossplay and cross progression between PC, Google stadia and Amazon. Luna on June 30th and Xbox and Playstation in early 2022 Smoke’s toxic canisters will no longer clip through ceilings, floors or walls. Bullet holes will no longer allow Bullet Hole, peaking kills. Bullets will now leave a hole with a material behind the wall, preventing you from seeing or shooting through it. You will have to shoot the wall enough to create a large hole. That also makes you visible to the other player.
It will not affect windows and other thin materials. That already put you in view, it’s basically to prevent a slew of those annoying kills where you don’t even know what just killed you. They are also balancing flashes from the light bouncing off objects to help with some unexpected blinding glares affecting matches. They are also reassessing some skins that are difficult to see or misleading, making it to where all skins are visible and damageable in the same field of vision.
They have also started automated database, cheat detection to narrow down the top cheats and who is using them. So sanctions for cheaters come quicker to Aid the community and keep the game running the way it was meant to and they’re working to expand the MMR rback system to help make sure your ranking is not affected by said cheaters. If you win against a cheater, I feel like you should get more points than against a non-cheater, because the match was harder but anywh who they have increased, sanction penalties for ranked and unranked matches.
