Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Dual Surface RGB Mouse Pad – CoolerMaster MP860”.
What’S up folks how’s it going, this is waj hope you guys are all doing well and for the past couple of weeks, some of you may have noticed that i’ve been using an rgb mouse pad now. Obviously rgb mouse pads are nothing new and exciting. In fact, rgb is kind of getting stale these days in the peripheral market, but what makes this pad a little bit different? Is it actually has a dual side? So, on one side, you have a surface that has a cloth. Finish provides ultra low friction and, if you flip it to the other side, you have an anodized aluminum finish, which typically gives you a more kind of slippery surface area, but funny enough with this particular texture that cooler master developed, you actually get a little bit more Drag a little bit more friction and a little bit more control in that regard, so it’s perfect for people that perhaps want to use a little bit more higher sensitivity settings on their mouse now.
The way that i’ve been using this mouse pad is that when i’m just doing general computing work related tasks, things like that i like to use a cloth side with the dpi settings set down on my mouse. That way, i’m free to move my mouse as much as i want. Since i have a low friction low drag surface and when i’m gaming, i typically like to use a higher dpi setting nothing crazy but higher than my general purpose and in conjunction with the higher friction.
Aluminum finish on the other side of the mouse pad. I’M able to get a little bit more precision and control with smaller mouse movements, but even with that said, i still really suck at fortnite. Moreover, in terms of dimensions, we’re looking at 360 by 260 millimeters, and it’s only about 10 millimeters in terms of thickness, which is pretty thin, considering we have 19 individually programmable regions with all sorts of different lighting effects and customization options that you would expect with a Modern day, rgb lighting system, including synchronization of the rgb lighting effects with your other peripherals from cooler master. Now, all in all, i’m sure a lot of you guys are sick and tired of watching pc, peripheral videos with rgb lighting integration and even though we’ve seen a dual-sided mouse pads before.
