Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Dream Desk – Apple SHOCKED Me with This Setup (2022)”.
Yo Jonathan here shout out to Internet Explorer. Rest in peace drop a like to pay respect. This is a video about Apple, doing something I never thought they would do. We take a minute and like Shake It Out, yeah yeah. There’S a story behind this.
It’S from Apple, why are you gon na cry? I’M feeling um yeah don’t make Danny cry, but I’m still a little bit. I feel like. I need to sit so a couple months back Apple reached out and was like hey. Would you like to surprise an up-and-coming creative with a dream setup, so at Mac Studio, Studio display iPad, iPhones airpods? Essentially, the entire Tim Apple kitchen sink, and I was really thrown back because again they have never done anything like this meet Danny and Colton who I’ve got a chance to know over the past couple years.
They are incredibly talented musicians, but even better humans. Just two of the kindest most humble nicest hardest working individuals that have got a chance to come across and I don’t think they realize how talented they are. So I couldn’t think of a better place for this to go. So I knew I had a challenge ahead of me not just to surprise them, but ultimately to get them to accept it, because the first time I ever met them, they wouldn’t even let me buy them coffee.
Fortunately, I was able to work out a master plan with their good friend Kevin who lives in the same apartment, complex as they do and seriously shout out to Kevin, because he was the literal MVP of this entire surprise, they’re, just pure people. They just love everybody and they genuinely want everybody to win. You know, so I just I think that shines through with them man, they just work so hard like they work hard and basically anybody. I know you know it’s like I mean I just and I respect it so much because it’s such a grind doing the hardest thing and all that – and I mean they just they deserve every every single thing that comes their way.
So the way we played it is we stashed everything at Kevin’s and then set up the studio display to make it appear as if he got one that way once they met up later, they would notice, and then we would Kool-Aid man in and surprise him with Everything else I noticed that it was nice and yeah huh. Oh, I signed up for Apple card and then you can Finance it for 12 months yeah, you finance together, yeah. Why would you do that? How much was it to find it 100? A month yeah for like a year, I think this is kind of nothing. Why did you? Why do you need that huh? You just wanted it or it’s better for the games.
So at that point it was time to move in and I think the diversion of why Kevin needed a studio display worked because they were completely surprised. I knew the apartment was clean for something right. That’S actually sorry Kevin. That’S not Kevin’s display! Oh, oh my God.
Oh, we were just roasting him for buying it. I was shooting all over him. I was like Kevin. What is this? Oh? No, no, it looks amazing, oh you guys are so sneaky.
I know I’m still inside here what’s happening. I feel like a dog when you can’t like look. You know when the dogs get awkward and they don’t know what’s happening. They know that you do a lot of iPad stuff as well. Are you joking? No, oh, my God. I know you guys hate this one. I’M so mad at you. I know and YouTube I’m serious with both of you.
You too Kevin. That’S just so much, I’m so sorry to do this to you. No, it’s I’m just I’m honestly, mostly like.
I feel like I didn’t wake up today in the world, because I was having strange dreams: okay, but you didn’t have to do anything. Thank you so fun fact Kevin actually came by last week. What dude you went up there yeah and you ain’t telling nobody Kevin.
What we’re like all he does is tell secrets Blaze was there and I’m like Blaze, don’t post anything on social yeah. We talked about that you’re like why’d, you get it. It looks amazing, but no yeah.
He said you got an Apple credit card. That’S what he told us okay. Well, I was like oh okay.
He was ready to put the game face on seriously like thank you for your part in this, even though you’re saying it’s not for me like. Thank you. I feel very um unworthy, not so thankful for you guys.
Yes, thank you guys and, and I still feel lucky. This is amazing. I don’t know what’s happening. Okay, it has an arrow. There’S a freaking heck.
What the it’s a big boy, it’s a big boy yeah. It looks pretty nice Definitely nicer than the car. Do. A Colton uh head size, comparison, Kevin gon na be jealous, I’m gon na.
Let him produce on this. Oh yeah yeah. I know he’s for sure. Can you guys just move all your sessions here now? Absolutely we have the nicer Studio, so the setup Mac Studio, Studio display – and I wanted to round things out with a pair of eye, loud micros, which sound incredible and also a symphony desktop from apogee. To me it is the best sounding interface, both going in and out that you can get for the money and in their case there are two headphone outs, which is extremely useful. Now, during that initial setup, even before getting to the interface or the external speakers, there was this fun moment of them reacting to the built-in speakers on the studio display which still surprised me to this day.
This look of just pure disbelief and how came the words? That’S amazing now What’s Happening Here is there is music coming out of the studio display, but then this is being captured by the camera and microphone on the studio display. So it’s this really cool example of tech getting out of the way and just capturing a moment. [ Applause ] again, though, as much as I do enjoy those built-in speakers in the studio display taking things up a notch, those iloud micros are incredible, whether you’re into making music or just listening to music or even dialogue and video editing. These things are ridiculous.
Foreign. Just worked so hard like they work harder than basically anybody. I know you know it’s like I mean I just and I respect it so much because it’s such a grind doing the hardest thing, and all of that – and I mean they just they deserve every every single thing that comes their way. They really they deserve it. Gross anyway, a curl, the crying girl yeah good job.
Oh yes, I mean man like no, I just for the first time. I just met them and I don’t even know I don’t even know them like that. But you know I have a pretty you know.
Just a life that I believe I have a pretty good tune on. You know, people are genuine. A lot of people are good and I can tell that they’re really really good people and – and I can tell that – they’re, not necessarily in it – for the money they’re in it, because it’s something they love to do and it’s they are um.
And I, like I, support people like that 100. That made me very happy and my heart is glowing. Why did you guys have all these videos yeah Bamboozled us again, stop doing that.
So, ultimately, there’s this really cool juxtaposition of looking back to that initial surprise and setup day and then fast forward, all the days and months and seeing everything they’ve made and created what an incredible feeling to feel Limitless a lot of times, that’s creative. So maybe it’s an excuse, maybe it’s not. You feel like you can’t, because of financial barriers, but there’s only so much you can do because it’s a threshold, there’s a limit, there’s a limit and and how that you know the amount of pressure that’s lifted being like.
I can do anything it makes you want to sit down and make sure and do anything and do anything. Yeah and like anything you don’t know, you can figure it out because you have to chose to do it and friends that know what they’re doing and thank you for tech support, and it’s like it’s crazy, because when it was like all set up, it truly made Us feel more creative, which is crazy, because again I hate saying that it shouldn’t be an excuse, because people make grammy-nominated records off of like their bedroom in a you know, in a closet with a booth but like for us. This incites so much creativity because it is, the opportunities are endless like we.
This is like we don’t feel like professionals still, and this is professional like our gear now – has surpassed us and that’s such an inspiring feeling, because now we need to catch ketchup yeah. We need we need to like we have to stop, because all we want to do is like sit here and play. I know we like play on it, but we like our like also just like okay, but to like actually do something something because it feels like Christmas yeah. It’S amazing .
