Cooler Master MasterBox 500- PC Case Overview 2022

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Cooler Master MasterBox 500- PC Case Overview 2022”.
What’S up folks, that’s on this watch hope you guys are all doing well and today we’re going to be taking a look at a brand new pc case from cooler master, the new generation master box 500. It’S a full atx chassis with a removable top panel, making installing millimeter radiators really simple, and in addition to that, it has tool-less entry, great cable management system, as well as a full tempered glass side panel. The design of the masterbox 500 is sci-fi, inspired, which you can tell from the front portion of the case where it looks kind of like a futuristic battle bot. It has subtle, rgb, light strips flanking, both the left and right side of the front panel and on the lower thirds you have a front mesh intake, followed by a 120 millimeter argb fan, there’s also a standard 120 millimeter fan providing rear exit exhaust located at the Back side of the case, but that’s just what’s included with the master box, you can easily add several a different fan: combinations from 140 millimeters down to 120 millimeters, depending upon your specific cooling needs. Additionally, cooler master claims that you can actually fit two 360 millimeter radiators on this case, one located at the front one at the top of the case, and as we mentioned before, with the top panel being fully removable, installation of large radiators will definitely be a lot More easier than traditional cases, and even in the case, if you’re installing a larger air-cooled units for your cpu, it might be a little bit easier to access and install with that top panel removed as well beyond that, since i’m actually going to be using this case. On a full-time basis, i actually took one of my main pc rigs and installed a complete system onto here, and the installation process was really simple and straightforward very easy to build.

Using this chassis, there’s tons of excellent cable management solutions, the ports are cut out. Pretty much in the right order where your power supply cables are going to come through and by the way, definitely like to thank cooler master for supplying the 750 watt fully modular mwe 80 plus gold psu. It’S an excellent unit for anybody. That’S going to be running a single gpu rig now in terms of the hardware allowances from a size perspective. You can fit any type of iatx to atx size motherboard.

You can also potentially fit an extended atx board, but you’re going to be covering some of the cable management ports and from a gpu size. You can go up to 410 millimeters in terms of maximum length psu. You can fit up to 180 millimeter unit with still relatively good clearance between your cables and the two three and a half inch hard drive cages. If you actually remove the cages, you actually fit up to a 300 millimeter psu. If you want to really go extreme with a multiple gpu system in this thing – and that brings us nicely to probably the biggest limiting factor of the master box 500 and indeed most of the contemporary modern cases that we’re seeing these days is the limited number of Mechanical 3.5 millimeter hard drives or just general hard drives.

You can connect to them. Basically, you only have two supplied hard drive cages and, as we mentioned just a moment ago, if you use a larger psu and want room for your cables, you’re gon na have to sacrifice that as well. Now you can fit up to four two and a half inch ssd drives two in the cages two mounted vertically at the back of the chassis, that’s still fairly limited compared to many of the older cases that we’ve seen in the past and indeed larger size cases That just have more drive options, installation capabilities. So if you’re going to be using this thing, you’re going to be highly dependent upon m.2 pci express based ssd drives mounted directly onto the motherboard and potentially a few high capacity mechanical and two and a half inch ssd drives in terms of the i o on The front panel side, you have two uh 3.2 gen, 1 type, a usb connections, a 3.5 millimeter headphone, slash microphone input, as well as a argb, slash power, reset button, in addition to the main power button itself. Now, in terms of keeping out a dust, you have a couple of different options, including a large magnetically, attaching filter.

Looking at the top of the case, you also have dedicated filters for the front intake, as well as the psu at the bottom of the case. Now this case card released just a few days ago, i’m not too sure what the availability and msrp is at this point, since i haven’t found it on many of the online retailers at this point, but i’m sure it’s going to be relatively affordable since cooler masters Fairly aggressive with their pricing, i’m not sure if there’s going to be another color options besides this semi-gloss black dark finish, but i do really love this finish in particular. Furthermore, cooler master also released the tg 300 mesh, which is their all-new micro, atx chassis, designed for more compact gaming systems. So, if you’re interested in us covering that, definitely let us know in the meantime, i want to thank you guys so much for your support.
