Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Awesome Back to School Tech 2023! (Baller Edition)”.

We got some tech recommendations inside of this backpack for those of you going to school this year and of course this is going to be the baller Edition. So maybe you got a little a little change in your pocket for maybe working your summer job or something this one’s for you now. I know we haven’t done the budget Edition for a while. This time we’ve got the budget Edition, but I promise this year we’re gon na go all out. We’Re gon na have an awesome budget Edition coming soon, so definitely stay tuned for that, but let’s jump into the backpack. This is something I highly recommend for us. Techies out there listen, I’ve been rocking this for years like this is when I brought back from the grave. Almost this right here is the Ogio Gambit I feel like the name is perfect.
You know the OG. This is the OG right here. The reason I brought this back out was because of this guy over here. This is the Linus Tech tips backpack.
Now I really really like this thing: lots of space lots of compartments. This would make a great back to school backpack as well. The only thing is, you know: if you’re trying to look fly, this ain’t really gon na do it. I mean this ain’t really gon na.
Do it much either, but I do think this is the better of the two. If you don’t want something, that’s going to be super big and bulky on you maybe not go for this. It does offer a lot of space check out the video that I did on this highly recommend great for us techies who want to carry a lot of stuff, but maybe we don’t need all that for school. So this is why we’re looking at this guy.
Let me quickly tell you a little bit about it. So for me it’s a great looking backpack, but I think you can kind of just look at it and see that this thing has lots of zippers because it has a ton of compartments. So I like to have my tech really organized throughout my backpack. I know exactly where everything is quick access to things uh.
This backpack absolutely provides that and honestly, this Backpacker is just like it’s like tried and true it’s an awesome. Backpack Ogio makes some of the best tech oriented backpacks I’ve ever seen with the Gambit, the Renegade, the Bandit they all look very similar, but they’re all really awesome. Now, of course, this is a laptop backpack and you got a laptop over here this guy. The Omen.
16 gaming laptop that goes up to an AMD ryzen 9 mobile processor. This is a great pick for back to school. If you’re, someone who likes to you know relieve some stress from work or school, with a little bit of gaming Like Yours, Truly and it’s actually a pretty good looking laptop with a 16 inch, 165 Hertz 1080p display the graphics. Look great and I’ve been pretty impressed with them since I’ve tested this laptop.
Now I like this for back to school, because not only does it have the right specs to just get normal work done, but it also lets you get some gaming in too it has an AMD ryzen 7000 series processor combined with omen’s Advanced Tempest cooling, which means Being able to play your games without stopping because of lag or overheating, and not only is it cool, but it’s quiet too. So if you want to play this in your school’s library chances are you can get away with it, not that you should be doing that or anything, but sometimes duty calls. I got it and again, thanks to that AMD, ryzen 7000 series processor, you can expect Pure Performance and speed not to mention long lasting battery out of this guy, which is great if you plan on taking this thing on the go and Outlets aren’t readily available. If you want to learn more about this quiet, stealthy and pretty good looking gaming laptop I’ll, of course, have links for you guys to check out it’s a super solid pick for you, Gamers and students out there now something that’s going to be really important to, like All students out there, of course, some headphones or earbuds, so we got a solid Choice over here.
We got some a couple of choices right here. We’Ve got the Beats Studio, buds plus now this is a really good. Option. Goes for about 170 bucks cheaper than most of the mainstream earbuds out there and what’s nice about these, is that they’re compatible with both IOS and Android.
So, no matter what device you’re using these little guys are going to work with them, and this is just a super cool pair of earbuds, because they’ve got like this awesome transparent. Look that I think lot of people have fallen in love with, and not only do they look cool, but they sound good as well, and they offer a bunch of features. Things like noise cancellation, being able to call out to your voice assistant, just great audio overall and some pretty solid battery life, and something I like about these – is that they’ve got like this really easy to maneuver design, so you can easily grip these put them into Your ear place them how you need them to be placed, and it’s just really easy to interact with them, and they just they look awesome. So I’m a big fan of These Guys. These are the Beats, Studio, buds plus and the price definitely worth it now.
Another low-key favorite for a lot of people are these guys the Sony link buds s now. The link buds were first introduced with that design with the donut shape had a weird hole in it that wasn’t for everyone, and a lot of people didn’t talk about that. For very long, if you’re a big fan of Sony earbuds, but you don’t want to pay the premium for like the wh series, like their top of the line very good option, it’s around 200 bucks uh.
You can probably find it for cheaper because Sony’s are always going on sale, but these are a really good option that I know a lot of people enjoy. So if you want to, you know shy away from something Apple branded or beats branded, it’s a pretty good. Pickup now you guys know me, I’m a big fan of keeping my devices charged, I’m not afraid to say it.
I, like some portable chargers, so here we have the Anker 737 uh power bank and this thing is actually super cool because it has like this built-in screen and you can tap the button on the side to get all kinds of information about how your devices are. Charging the speed they’re charging at the battery life of this guy. This is like a lot of cool information from my nerdy folks out there who just want to you know, know how their devices are charging and making sure they’re getting the ultimate charge out of them. Uh you’ve got two USBC ports as well as a USB type, a port at the top. I do wish it had some more ports like look at all the space that it had left they kind of throw in a couple more ports, but this thing does perform the way you would want it to and depending on the laptop that you have, this thing Can potentially even charge your laptop up to 140 watts of charging speed? This is just a premium option that not only feels like a solid device, but it charges as well as you’d want it to now. If you’re, like you, know a Big Apple user, I’m going to throw in another option for you uh, this is from momax. This thing has a 10 000 milliamp hour battery, not bad.
I believe this one’s 24 000, which is really good uh, but this is built for Apple devices, so you have a magsafe charger right here at the very top. So not only do you have built-in magsafe, but you got a spot to charge your Apple watch as well built right in and if you know you go all out, you can also charge your air pods in this little section over here as well. So if you got one of the airpods with a wireless charging case, you can potentially charge all three of your Apple devices at the same time and you also have a USBC Port, so you can fast charge there as well. This one goes for about 200 bucks. I think Amazon has like 20 off so 179.99, like 180., it’s expensive, but I think it is extremely functional and this is like super premium.
So it’s got. Metal feels really. High-End and quality is absolutely there and it gives you a lot of flexibility now. Next up. Let’S say you don’t want to go with this backpack or maybe even the Linus backpack. You got your backpack, but you still want to bring all your Tech around with you.
I would look into this guy. This is the peak design. I think it’s the tech, organizer or I might have the name wrong, but this is basically a tech pouch.
You know how I like to use this for those of you who follow me. This is like my tech survival kit, and inside of here, is where I store pretty much all the little Tech accessories cables, things that I might need just in case. Something goes wrong or I forget something I always carry this thing around, but you can just potentially use it yourself to carry all the little knickknacks and gadgets that you want to bring with you all inside of this one pouch. So you don’t need to have like you know something with a bunch of compartments. You can pick the backpack that you want just put all your Tech inside of here if they can fit so from keeping external hard drives to all kinds of like cables, microfiber cloths, all kinds of stuff – that’s inside of here, if you guys want to see like A full video on the updated Tech that I have in here, let me know with a comment below, but a tech organizer like if you don’t want loose cables, look into this. This is a really good investment, just a little bit on the bulky side depending on your backpack size uh. But I like that thing, but speaking of loose cables over here, I got a couple that I’ve really been enjoying lately. So these are long braided cables with an OLED screen to let you know how fast your device is, charging if you’ve ever been into situations where you think your device is. Am I using the wrong anyway? This is super cool because, if you’ve ever been in those situations where you think your device is charging – and it’s just you know – you leave it there – you walk away and you come back and your phone is still dead. This basically lets you know whether or not your device is charging, because you can see the amount of wattage that’s going to your device.
So if the screen isn’t on or it’s at zero or something, then you know you’ve got a problem and you’re not getting charged. I really like these because it just helps me to know what’s going on with my device and how fast it’s charging and they’re actually pretty inexpensive they’re, not like expensive cables, and they can charge up to 100 Watts. So for me I think it’s a no-brainer.
I know I personally hate coming back to my phone and noticing that it never charges in the first place and I’m just sitting there with like egg on my face. I’M not gon na sit here and talk about a bunch of charging accessories, all video, but this is one of my favorite anchor Chargers. Have a few options for you to choose from anchor does make some really awesome ones, so I’ll have those there. As well now I don’t know what the state of online classes are these days, but if you’re in college and you’re still doing them uh, I highly suggest taking a look at this guy right here. This is the insta 360 link. Now I’m a huge fan of this thing, because the quality is just amazing. You might notice that it’s on a gimbal, that’s because this thing can track you, so it can make sure you’re, always in the center of your shot. So this works for both Mac and PC. So it’ll work right with this guy over here. If you’re, just on the Mac, I’ve recently taken a look at the Opel C1, which I’m also a really huge fan of, if you’re, just a Mac User, definitely check that one out too I’ll.
Have the video for that link down below two of the best options. On the market, in my opinion, so high quality webcam, if that’s important to you, definitely check that out. Maybe you’re off to school and you’ve got your high school sweetheart back at home or maybe they’re at another school, and you want to show yourself in the best quality possible you’re, not wrong.
I would have loved that then again, kids might just be using FaceTime Jay. Now, here’s something I would have liked back in the day for sure, and that’s this guy, the remarkable two now I am all about having a notebook, I’m old school like having the ability to write down my notes. This is a digital notebook.
It doesn’t give you all the bells and whistles like an iPad, would where you can use all these apps honestly. That would be super distracting to me. Could I get a notification in the middle of class, I’m like what who who mentioned me on Twitter or threads or whatever is going on these days uh. I would be super distracted, not great for school. Something like this takes away all the distractions lets you focus. You can write down your notes. You have the ability to sync through Dropbox, so if you want to take scans of textbooks that you’re using currently in class, you can use that and make notes. This thing is absolutely amazing. I’Ve been using it for a while. Now absolutely love it, but they’ve also come out with a cool accessory. Where maybe you don’t always want to jot down your notes with your pen. You can now use a built-in keyboard, so you can pop this guy out get to typing and you can get some notes jotted down. That way. I felt like that might have been the missing piece to something like this, and now this feels like a very complete device. I know some people type faster than they can write so uh. If you’re looking to seriously take notes, uh drop down some to-do lists – or you know just be really productive and not be distracted, remarkable to absolutely gets my vote big user over here. I think it’s great and we got some small stuff like uh, this native Union microfiber cloth type of deal uh. This is great.
If you want to just keep your devices clean, I even use it to clean down my laptop. Sometimes you know, if you’re out in public – and you want your device to stay clean, the very pouch that holds the solution can be used to keep your devices nice and good looking, and it makes it really easy to carry around with you. If you’re a neat freak for your gadgets, like I am you got, ta have this and last but not least, the last thing I recommend – which I don’t have here with me – is the Sony zv1 Mark II. So if you’re trying to get into vlogging, maybe you want to Vlog your school experience, maybe in college you’re hanging out with your friends a lot you want to just capture those moments. Some people might be too good for their phones, like, I think the smartphone can do a really good job at capturing that stuff. Some people want to, you know, really live the vlogger life, and the zv1 Mark II will definitely help with that one other camera that I might recommend is the insta360 go 3.
that one’s super flexible gives you a lot of options.
