Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Augment Your Reality with castAR Glasses”.
Our project name is cast ar and it’s projected augmented reality glasses. It’S uh, holographic type images projected onto a surface that you can play games. You can visualize graphics or models or use it for productivity apps. I really like when people are wearing our glasses and they’re surprised by things that fly up and look like it’s flying towards their face. The reaction is always great they’re, just like really surprised that things are flying up out of the table at them, because we can generate graphics.
That looks like it’s at the tip of your nose or even often, to infinity in the table. So this zombie game was a lot of fun uh. It was cooperative at first, but then things just kind of went downhill. We started attacking each other, but i started attacking you, but it’s great, you could look around and you could see stuff like if you, if you wanted to see what was more to the left. All you do is turn your head. Really cool, really cool, really realistic. I didn’t get the part you could look around obstacles initially, but that’s something that works with this technology really realistic. It’S awesome, my name is ryan smith and my role is as the artist i’m the only artist in the company, so i get to design prototypes.
I do artwork for the games, um, graphics, the websites, that’s a pretty long list of things, but it’s exciting and i get to do new stuff every day and i get to work with jerry. So it’s pretty much the coolest job. Anyone has ever seen.
Um maker faire is one of the coolest things i’ve ever seen. I would compare it to a bunch of other things, but it’s really without compare. The people.
Here are some of the nicest people i’ve ever seen and without a doubt, the most creative people i’ve ever met in my entire life. So that alone and and i haven’t even gotten to walk around that much so when i actually get to play with the things. That’S gon na be even better and we’re done. .
