This one’s from Rhys – hey guys, do you have any takes on ID security. Australia has gone through a load of hacks on big businesses. Recently, lots of data on the internet, two out of five of every Aussie personal data, went online via health insurance, yeah um. I I find it very entertaining that the places the things that I use that have the worst security um our government services and banking services um, which is just crazy, um yeah I I can – I can attest to that as well. I’M I’m like it’s. It’S wild to me that that that those type of services, in my experience, don’t have like they like if they do have two factor, it’s just SMS yeah and I’m like – can we can we get this together here like come on guys, it’s a lot of banks And uh government services are often gigantic extremely extremely slow, moving super bureaucratic situation, so it’s very hard to make those types of changes, yeah um, so like I get it from from the from the tech teams that work on those Services, I’m not blaming you. I understand you’re dealing with Muddy Waters, but um it’s just it’s very disappointing and anytime.
I go to do any banking stuff or any government services stuff I’m just like. Oh. This is like rough when, when, like accounts that I have for like random stupid games, that I don’t care about, have like way better security than my government identity. This is this is weird right.
Like I don’t know, this seems like you’re, not better security, you’re. Not no one’s stealing your skins, bro yeah, we got you yeah, I mean well, your bank is like um, we sent you it, we sent you an email uh. Could you are you who you say you are? Maybe I don’t know you’re not allowed to use special characters in your password. Yes, we don’t know how to sanitize our inputs, characters limits, oh yeah and no specials, and, like oh, my gosh, you used. You used the symbol that is on this key in the keyboard and we don’t know how to say it. So you can’t you’re just talking about deja. I don’t know what accent I’m doing, you’re doing Deja din, that’s what the banks they all they’ll, they’re, all European! You know yeah .
