So it seems that Apple’s scary, fast event actually ended up owning up to its name as yes, Apple’s M3 chips are pretty crazy and already bringing 3 nanometer power to the market. The result of these new s, so’s is an updated iMac and the pretty interesting approach to the MacBook Pro and well. It seems that Samsung planned features for its next galaxy that are actually better than we expected. I’M ha Rivera and I just love how we went from toober to chip season already and we’re still not done with teer. This is parket out daily. We are actually going to start today off with rumors, as the official news are coming later. We’Ve got Samsung to start with, since we have details about the camera sensors that could be used for the Galaxy s24 Ultra and some of the features that could arrive, which is pretty interesting, Samsung recently unveiled the impressive capabilities of its ISO cell 200 megapixel sensor with The obvious Boost from from the ISP on qualcomm’s new Snapdragon agent, 3 chipset, the sensor introduces an Innovative feature called Zoom any place which I know the name is weird but anyways.
It automatically tracks subjects within a video while simultaneously capturing fullframe zoomed out footage of the entire scene. This essentially enables the sensor to record two 4K video streams, one cropped and one wide angle, offering flexibility and framing adjustments post capture available for both the 2X and 4x Zoom levels, notably, this feature maintains 4K resolution and tracks subjects dynamically as they move within the frame. Additionally, the iso cell sensor showcases the endtoend AI REM, Mosaic approach for image, processing departing from the conventional sequential processing method.
This approach integrates color tone, noise reduction, sharpening HDR, demosaicing white balance and lens shading correction simultaneously, resulting in a double capture, speed, reduced processing time and enhanced image quality. Although Sam Sam’s presentation labeled these features as for illustrative purposes only, they are expected to be included on the Galaxy s24 Ultra as a devices confirmed to be powered by the new Snapdragon chipset. The company is planning to incorporate more advanced glass, molded lenses, a move expected to result in a sleeker and lighter design, shorter lenses and enhanced optical zoom capabilities. Here’S the thing, though, this upgraded Glass Technology will primarily be applied to the telephoto lens due to the intricate production process and limited manufacturing cap capabilities, allegedly apple and allegedly Apple Representatives recently visited Hoya, a prominent mold glass supplier known for its ability to produce numerous highly Precise aspherical glass, molded lenses, this advanced technology is likely to come at a higher cost, potentially exerting price pressure on the iPhone 16 Pro Models in the upcoming year earlier in July, digital chat station discussed the use of molded Glass Technology in the iPhone 16. Fast event happened last night and, let’s just say, the company did not disappoint. In addition to products, we got to see the company’s new M3 series chips consisting of the M3 M3 Pro and M3 Max all running on the latest 3 NM architecture and boosting an impressive 80 % performance improvement over the M1 chip. It’S seems the rumors of only Apple, doing 3 nanometer turned out to be true and yeah. A ton of the comparisons are versus M1 by the way, but I get it.
The competition still hasn’t caught up with M1 anyways, still they’re better than even M2, and these chips introducing Cutting Edge features like GPU, Dynamic, caching, ensuring efficient resource allocation for smoother user experience and then the fact that mesh, shading and rate tracing capabilities enhan the M3 series For gaming and rendering offering lifelike lighting and faster 3D processing, the M3 ship promises a 30 % boost in performance compared to M1, with efficiency course providing a 50 % increase. Now, notably, this doesn’t compromise power efficiency, as the M3 CPU operates at just half the power of the M1 and a fraction of Intel’s power consumption. The M3 chip comes with an 8 core CPU and a 10 core GPU, while the M3 Pro offers a 12 core CPU and an 18 core GPU. The top tier M3 Max boasts a 16 core CPU, a 40 C GPU, and supports an impressive 128 gigs of unified memory. The M3 and M3 Pro chips will be available shortly, while the M3 Max is arriving in November. Now, as for devices, let’s start with the 24-in iMac, which finally got an upgrade in terms of design, it looks pretty much the same as its predecessor, so I’m not going to go into those details with some minor tweaks, but nothing extremely noticeable.
The display is also the same as before with a the 4.5k resolution, but yeah you’re now getting it with M3, which is listen, a dramatic boost and finally, for the hottest news today. Let’S just continue talking about Apple, because, yes, the new Macbook Pros powered by the new chips are finally official. The lineup now kicks off with a cheaper 14-in MacBook Pro model powered by the entry level M3, providing a more budget friendly entry point of $ 15.99. Yes, this means the 13-in MacBook Pro with touch bar is gone, which is good, but I’m not going to lie. I did want a lighter MacBook Pro with M3, even if they would have grabbed the MacBook gear and just rehashed it with M3 and a better display, or something like that – I don’t know but lighter regardless anything, that’s better than that old design, but all right.
We also got the high-end configurations featuring an M3 Pro and M3 Max variant which can be acquired in both 14 and 16-in sizes. Apple claims that the M3 Pro surpasses its previous generation M2 uh by up to 20 % in terms of speed, while the M3 Max outperforms the M2 Max by an impressive 2x. Which is the reason why I’m telling you it’s not the same case for everything. And then battery life has been certified to an impressive 22 hours, depending on the model that you want, but the M3 Pro variant not doing that well and apple guarantees consistent performance, whether the laptop is plugged in or running on battery power visually. The laptops retain their familiar chassis and external design, with the main difference being a new color option. If you go N3 Pro or N3 Max apple is dubbing.
