Apple iPad Pro Review - 6 Months Later

Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Apple iPad Pro Review – 6 Months Later”.
So as if the apple product line wasn’t already confusing enough, as it was in november 2015, the company introduced the apple ipad pro a 12.9 inch behemoth of a tablet, and it was very powerful by far the most powerful tablet. Upload ever launched four gigabytes of ram and apple a9x processor and also had the highest resolution display on a portable apple device. So here are my thoughts on the rather controversial piece of kit six months after its launch first things. First, the ipad pro is a really slick machine.

It’S thin, it’s very very light, and because of that, even though it’s actually significantly larger in terms of area than most full-size tablets, it doesn’t actually feel it. It can fit in all the same places that those can and so to be honest, i’d, say it classes in the same level of portability as those the display quality is also fantastic. It’S got a resolution of 2048 by 2732, creating that infamous apple retina display quality.

The colors are far from the most saturated i’ve ever seen, though they don’t exactly jump out and punch you in the face like, for example, they might do on the galaxy s7, but at the same time, apple has just gone for a more neutral color palette, which Is equally as acceptable, unfortunately, though, as well as being one of its greatest strengths, the display is also one of the tablet’s greatest weaknesses. There is just too much space on the display and that’ll be fine if apple actually allowed you to take advantage of it, but in a lot of situations it really is just wasted and in fact, actually detracts from the experience you’ll find in a lot of menus. You’Re navigating in one instance, your thing will be in the top right, then it’ll be on the bottom left and then the top left and all of a sudden, you realize that actually, this feels like a mobile operating system designed for four inch screen.

That’S just been scaled up very poorly, even six months down the line. The ipad pro is one of the fastest tablets you can buy on the market with the a9x processor, having almost double the gpu horsepower of the a9 processor, which is pretty powerful in itself. This thing can run games.

Well, you won’t expect to struggle on even the most demanding titles on the app store, but unfortunately you just won’t be able to play all of them. Some of them are upskilled very badly and others are just unsupported. The speakers are something else i mean in all the time i’ve used them. I’Ve never really grown used to them or accepted them. They always seem to surprise me whether it’s listening to music or games or sound effects or whatever you’re actually doing whatever media you’re consuming on the tablet. They’Re amazing they’re, very bassy, they’re, very detailed and the fact that they’re coming from four different directions makes it a really immersive experience.

As far as the camera goes, there’s nothing too much to say about it. While it does have basically the best camera available on an apple tablet, it’s still i mean it’s pretty mediocre by today’s sort of smartphone standards. It doesn’t shoot particularly detailed or interesting photos. Now the apple pencil is a really really interesting one. I didn’t actually buy a launch. I bought it about three months down the line and i’ve had kind of mixed opinions of it in some applications. For example, intense 3d visualizing, it’s extremely useful, in fact you can barely live without it.

It does, unlike a lot of smartphone styluses, offer a lot more detail and precision than your fingers alone, but the thing is 99 of ios has basically been designed for people with chubby fingers, so there’s basically no extra benefit for using something. That’S as precise as a pen, it doesn’t really help you in games or navigating the ui, so unless you need it for those specific application uses, it’s a pretty pointless tool. A quite confusing oversight is that there’s no place to actually store the apple pencil inside the ipad. So basically, unless you have a third party case, you have to basically keep it in your pocket. When it comes to battery life, apple seems to have developed a reputation to be able to deliver on its promises.

It promised 10 hours with the ipad pro and it delivered and, to be honest, it’s quite impressive, considering the huge power sapping display and the powerful components. So guys, after having owned the ipad pro for nearly six months, i’m going to conclude this video by saying that it’s an impressive piece of hardware, the screen is amazing. The speakers are, unlike anything, i’ve ever really experienced on a tablet and the huge processing power basically lets. You run in a lot of cases desktop class applications, but unfortunately, i just think apple could do a lot more when it comes to software.

Not only is the selection of apps that support the display properly pretty limited, but it just feels when you’re using the whole operating system that it’s not really designed for a display that large and it’s all just kind of stretched a little bit. So, whilst there is fantastic potential here for a plus size tablet being able to take it wherever you can take a 10 inch tablet, but just have more productivity and a more immersive experience while doing so. Unfortunately, i just think this time it’s not been implemented perfectly, but i would definitely say that the ipad pro is one to keep an eye on, because the future generations could be amazing thanks for watching i’m, mr who’s, the boss. If you enjoyed this video, i would really appreciate it. If you slap that subscribe button, it would mean the world to me i’ll see you next time. .
