Hey, what’s up folks how’s it going. This is waj hope you guys are all doing well and in this article we’re going to be talking about the new amd ryzen 5 1500 x. This is basically the entry model. Ryzen 5 chip. That’S out right now, and it definitely offers a lot of appealing factors: it’s physically, a quad core processor, with a thread so very similar uh to the core i7 lineup of cpus, and this is exactly what we’re going to do. We’Re going to compare it against the 7700k as well as the core 7600k to see how it kind of compares against its intel counterparts and to keep this video as streamlined and as simple as possible. There’S going to be no commentary, all you’re going to see is the raw specification differences and the performance test that everyone wants to see both in terms of dedicated cpu benchmark results as well as some gaming ones.
So without any further ado, let’s get right into it. So, but really on that guys, that’s really it! I think the 1500 x is probably one of the most compelling cpus for under the 200 mark that you can get right now. Uh. It certainly is not quite as fast as a five gigahertz overclocked uh 7700k, which is kind of to be expected, but it definitely comes in very close and in most scenarios it is going to be faster than a uh five gigahertz overclock uh 7600k from the core I5 a perspective, so if you are interested in kind of building a little bit of a budget, a gaming base a cpu or productivity machine, the 1500x is certainly a great option to start out with.
