Hi, this is Wayne again with a topic “Amazing Maker Awards 2022”.
Introducing the makeys for many years at maker faire, we’ve seen amazing projects from makers around the world and we’ve shared them with many others. These are projects that have inspired us, they’ve made us smile or laugh, they’ve made us think or wonder, and they helped us realize what we are able to do and what we are able to make together covet has not been kind to our community. We haven’t had the opportunity to get together and see each other’s work. We’Ve missed out on seeing such amazing projects and getting to know the people who amaze us.
That’S why we are launching the amazing maker awards this year online. The amazing maker awards is a new awards program that seeks to develop, nurture and recognize the creative, technical and social impact of makers and their amazing projects. We call the awards the makeys.
The amazing maker awards is a juried exhibition that showcases the most amazing projects from individuals and groups of makers, makers of all ages and levels of expertise can sign up now and submit their projects for consideration.
